Potomac Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

We order delivery from Potomac Pizza on occasion because one of the people in the house likes their burgers. Third time that I've eaten delivery from them over a fair span of time and all three times, for me, have been extremely sub-par.

I order Steak and Cheese and Fries. I'm not expecting the best sub ever but the meat is bland and the sub roll is just meh, like Wonder Bread. Not the worst but for 9 bucks I'd like a little bit more flavor and a better roll.

My REAL pet peeve however is the Fries. The fries here are AWFUL. They are limp, colorless, and devoid of anything remotely resembling flavor. It's as if they take the fries out of the freezer, let them sit till they thaw and then, briefly, dunk them in warm oil to bring them up, slightly, from room temperature. Honestly, they should be ashamed of their fries.

I am disappointed with my experience here, the place was fairly empty when we arrived, we placed our order, 2 individuals pizza, nothing crazy. Waited for almost 40 mins to get out food, in that time frame 3 different tables were filled and served their food, i saw the server avoid eye contact as she should have noticed it was taking too long, we were about to get up and leave when the pizza arrive. I would say the pizza was good but the wait and service left a lot to be desired, ohh and of top of that they got my wife’s order wrong. I would give 2 star because the pizzas had a good flavor.

Solid Pizza / Italian restaurant chain in a casual atmosphere with many different food options to choose from. We were in the mood for pizza, and each ordered a personal margharita and personal cheese pizza. Both were tasty, yet not overwhelming. I would have liked my cheese pizza to be a bit more crunchy, but it was still fresh, and right out of the oven. We also ordered garlic knots, which were particularly good, along with a cup of tomato basil soup. The soup was also very tasty, but was really small, even for a "cup" serving. Atmosphere was clean and spacious, with a few TVs tuned in to local sporting events. Service was friendly, and our server checked in frequently to ensure that we had what we needed.
