I was so excited to try this place when I went with my boyfriend yesterday and was I surprised in the end at the outcome. When I saw the Tiramisu and Eclair pastries, which are some of my favorite pastries, I decided on ordering them and for brunch I went with the avocado and egg on a multigrain bread for brunch. As soon as I took a bite of the tiramisu cake it tasted awful, spoiled and rancid. I even had to ask my waiter “is this Tiramisu?” Plus it smelled like expired milk!!! I immediately told the “clueless” looking waiiter and he then took it away and said, “sorry about that, you won’t be charged for it”… as if I would pay for expired, rancid cake! Then I braved it out and tried the Eclair, which was good. Pretty basic. When I finished the Eclair I tried my avocado and egg on a multigrain bread which tasted like lemon/citrus for some reason. Plus the egg was really runny. As soon as we left this restaurant I had a disgusting taste in my mouth and then I crossed my fingers and hoped not to get food poisoning or H Pylori. .

I really want to like this place. Bread and chocolate are among my favorite foods. Unfortunately I have been very disappointed each time I visit.

The menu doesn't offer a lot of choices. Some breakfast items, sandwiches and pastries. Today I decided on the french toast. It was served cold. Not warm enough to melt the generous supply of butter. The bread looked interesting but I didn't find it had much flavor My daughter had the kids crepe. She said it was okay. Our hot chocolate wasn't hot either. Likley sat for a while prior to being delivered to us. We had a desert that my child wasn't interested in finishing. (I can't remember last time she didn't finished eating a slice of cake)

It was Friday evening and the place only had a few customers. When the waitresses was paying attention to us we received good service. Unfortunately there were long lags between periods where they were paying attention to us. We had trouble attracting her attention.

I love the concept. Disappointed in the execution.

Parking can be a challange...

My food had hair, and all I got was "sorry about that" from an utterly clueless and always-confused server and equally clueless manager. They just took away my plate after I complained, did not bring a replacement order, and did not take the cost off the bill!!!

I have been eating there regularly since they opened their dining room for "dine in" despite the awful service and mediocre food. They seem to have been relatively busy since they reopened for indoor dine in, but their owner(s) saw fit to hire minimal, clueless staff. They only have one confused server and equally confused manager.

The service and food have been awful since they reopened for dining in. Every time I go I have to ask the server to make sure the food is cooked and ask for condiments, MULTIPLE times! Having hair in my food was the last straw, and I am never going back to that AWFUL place. If the owners do not care about the customers, why I should care about...

After passing this place for weeks during our daily walks, Hubby and I finally made a date to have breakfast. What a disappointment! While the coffee is great, the food was extremely disappointing. The French toast tasted like it was made in advance and kept warm, my husband’s hash browns and omelette was lukewarm and when I inquired about my burnt French toast, I was told it comes like that. NO! That’s what happens when you cook something in advance and try to keep it warm. Service was so-so as well, especially since it was only outside 5 tables occupied with one table having inside dining. I’ll only return for the coffee. Please take the advice as there are plenty of other amazing breakfast spots in the area… I know I’ll continue to explore.

Not what I expected but not in a bad way. First, there is plenty of free, shared parking around back as well as a rear entrance. Second, it's more elegant than just a bakery/coffee shop where you can sit at any open table. They have table service and I would probably feel uncomfortable wearing sweatpants. I only had a key lime tart and cappuccino. The tart was beautiful and a small work of art. I'm very snobby about key lime anything and have had many different kinds. This one tasted a little of cheese (parmesan if you were wondering) and it's not my favorite key lime prep. I wouldn't avoid the place just because of the tart. The cappuccino was excellent.

The service was amazing: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The savory pancakes (1 with Black Forest ham and cheese, 1 with chicken) were great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The water was cold and good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Patio, inside, and restroom ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The orange juice was ok ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The pastry inside had neither names nor prices ⭐️ We chose two pastries to take home and have in the afternoon: napoleon cake (?) and almond croissant: both were disappointing, stale, low flavor. ⭐️⭐️ (looked amazing). Surprisingly expensive (again, there were no prices anywhere on display). All brunch items served on the patio looked great. We might try another brunch but I’m not sure if we try another pastry.
