I've been going to this particular nail shop since I came to washington d c last april. Most of the experiences have been okay but this last time that I went I had eyebrows wext and I wanted a manicure and a pedicure. I realized I needed to get a full set of nails. I told the technician and she proceeded to start doing my nails. I guess the manager of the shop came to ask Her what I was doing and she must have told him that I was getting a full set and he must have said to her. She had only asked for a manicure and the technician said to him that I and wanted a full set. He became angry and stood up over top of me and she. The technician looked at me to tell me that he was mad at me. Because I was getting a full set and I was supposed to say that on my way in but I didn't need to say that because I didn't know I wanted that until we went to do my manicure and at that point she should have said. I'm sorry I don't have time. I only have enough time for a manicure. I won't go back because I don't think that a manager in a shop should be standing over you and angry. Because you're there paying for service. I know that they overcharged me, but it's OK. They can have that money. Because I won't go back. And I know that won't hurt them. Because people feel that shop up every single day and every weekend. But they won't get my money anymore. I don't appreciate room behavior and unprofessional. People who don't know how to say I just don't have time for that today. Plus my film looked at horrible 4 days later. I ended up going to another shop and having them redone. I didn't want to go back. Because I don't ever want anyone to say that. Read moreI came in to get my nails done on Sunday. Here is a full honest review. First I spoke with one of their receptionists and made an appointment that required a deposit, which I made. When I came in to get my nails done they gave me someone who was not confident enough to complete my look, which was a simple gel set with rhinestones on both middle fingers. She told me that the guy who does that was not here. She did end up doing it, though I was not elated with what she did I accepted as I had to leave for vacation the very next morning, and tipped. When it was time to close out I was charged the full price even though I made a deposit and didn’t realize until I made it to my car. I returned to the store and they fixed this mistake. My issue is that when I went on vacation the following day 3 stones had already fallen off. I Instantly messaged them and attached pictures and they said that I could come in to get it fixed when I returned. When I came in to get it fixed I was questioned on when and where my appointment was and who did my nails, and told to return 30 minutes later.30 minutes later when I returned no one acknowledged me, and no one attempted to fix my nails. While I understand the shop may be busy, this is unacceptable customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this salon. There is no reason that a $75 full set should have issues less than a week after getting it done. In addition, every nail-tech should be capable of completing a basic set with a few rhinestones. Read moreFirst time visiting this nail salon and it was actually on Christmas Eve 2021. I walked in not knowing you had to make an appointment first and the receptionist understood that but still fit me in! The pedicure isn't really something to brag about but this particular lady tried her best and was very pleasant. After my pedicure it was very packed due to the holidays so I had to sit for a moment to wait to get my nails done. When it was finally my time his name is Jonathan took time out to start my nails and brought it to my attention that my nails were unhealthy and I needed to start a new set. I obliged and asked him if it was possible that he could do my nails. When I say it was a full and total amazing experience! Jonathan is an amazing nail tech and he's very patient because his style of nails was new to me. Also I wasn't feeling very well and he took time out to make sure I was okay. More expensive than I would prefer but being able to experience his style of work was amazing and I will be returning!
