I was all good with this dispensary up until today. I had no problem with spending cash but when I arrived, I was not aware that they were only taking cash Only. I also had a Uber waiting for me when I arrive there. I waited in line for an extra long time because they were still stuffing and securing pre- rolls and the guy who was two people in front of me had ordered pre-roll as well as the guy behind him so they both had to wait util they finish. once I got to the front I was informed about cash only because their card machine was broken. Not a problem, but at this point, I’m irritated because I didn’t know. One of the bud tenders a nice young lady she said once you get your money out the ATM machine that they have available there she said I’ll take it for you so you can get your product. By the time I was finished, she had stepped off. The manager who was also normally a nice young lady so I thought. she was standing there, and I just told her that the young lady that was here before said she’ll take my money because you know I wouldn’t have to get in the line again and go through the whole drooling process, but I was already upset about not being informed about cash only.she says everyone’s been using cash in way to say like Duh. But I honestly didn’t know. Also I ordered online.I gave her my name and she proceeded to ask me are you OK but it’s like in a way where your sizing me up not concerned. And I didn’t reply because she kept saying that she said it more than once and I didn’t want to reply because I didn’t want my reply to come off harsh but I then said I’m great. She stepped off nice and slowly went into the back to get my stuff and took extra long to come out and I’m standing there and as I’m standing there, my Uber is like 30 seconds from the five minute mark that they give you? Now I also had ordered online. So my Uber left and she came back out, and I explained to her that because I had a Uber waiting for me and didn’t know about the cash because the Security forgot to tell me she’s like oh no I just know that you come here all the time and it just seemed like something was wrong with you so I’m just checking you know on you but that’s not how I felt it was. I felt like it was busy in there. She was trying to prove a point and size me up and I really didn’t appreciate that. I said I will be back, but I honestly don’t think I will just giving my experience this time. It’s nobody’s fault that I had an Uber waiting on me, but I also felt that the manager was kind of very nasty and to behave like that in front of other customers when you’re in service of giving customer service, that’s just unprofessional the way that she behaved to me. Read moreI'm not someone who often writes reviews because generally speaking I don't have that kind of energy in my life, but my experience today was so terrible and so unlike any experience I've had before I feels it's warranted.
Some important details: I am both hard of hearing, and not an expert when it comes to weed whatsoever. I'm new to using it and have only been to a dispensary twice - this one. The first time I went I had a very positive experience. For one, the shop was empty, so I had no issue understanding and hearing the employees, who were helpful and offered some advice when I explained that I didn't have experience. Today, however, the shop was extremely busy at the time I went. When I came up to order, I couldn't quite understand and hear what the woman was saying, both because her voice was a bit quieter, and the place was loud. I also tried to convey that I didn't have much knowledge about weed, which I perhaps didn't convey properly, because she spoke as if I had more knowledge than I did and I struggled to follow along. After several attempts of asking her to repeat herself about different things, I got the impression she was unhappy and irritated with me. Finally I asked a question and instead of answering or explaining that I must have misunderstood something she said, she repeated my question back at me, over and over, in increasingly mocking tones. She continued to repeat my question at me until I asked if I'd misunderstood something, at which point she finally confirmed that I had. I have never had an experience like this with an employee anywhere in my life. I understand people have rough days and don't have much tolerance for confusion, but I have never been mocked like that before. Again, the first time I went, I had a good experience. Beyond Coco, the entire atmosphere at granny Za’s is fantastic. The selection is top-notch when they have everything in stock, and the products are always fresh and good quality. I’ve tried several different items, and I’ve never been disappointed. Plus, the dispensary is always clean and organized, so shopping is a breeze -plus their menu is online and they keep it updated
Every time I visit, I leave feeling like I’ve just had a great conversation with a friend (COCO needs a vacation she’s always there with a smile) who really knows their craft.
