I called first because I wanted to know if I buy beer there, or if I should just bring it in a coozie, or something. A woman named Charlene said "we don't serve beer." I said great, I'll bring. There's a great brewery across the street. She said "there's no drinking here; this is an olympic sport." What happened on Wednesday 7:20pm (league night) was an astonishing display of athleticism, nerdom, and phenomenal heartbreak as I lost five out of six matches playing ping pong (sorry), table tennis—sober. The men and women who make up the vibrant, progressive, and energetic vibe in the place are tough to describe. They seem normal, but don't be fooled. They are fanatical dregs of society. All types. People who sweat, people who "tsk," people who study the ball in their hand as if they would draw it. People who limp, people who mumble, people who bring their own paddles. I consider myself lucky to have been included in their lives on any given Wednesday, on any given 7:30pm.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have fun and learn something new. I can't wait to come back. Also very knowledgeable guy, learnt from him that table tennis is associated with cognitive and memory...

The league gives you at least competitive table tennis for a...
