Amee’s Medical Spa — Attraction in Watertown

I had a fantastic Platinum Hydrafacial at Amee's Medical Spa with Kaytie! It was my first time seeing her for a treatment. I booked a pre-treatment consultation and Kaytie took the time to listen and understand my skin concerns before we began and really customized the Hydrafacial to my needs, which is not something you get at every med spa.

During the consultation, Kaytie also took photos of my skin using the Visia machine, which is something I've only ever seen before in dermatology offices. She was able to show me my skin's health and condition with these high-res, high-tech images. Kaytie and I also discussed ways to repair sun damage, something I plan to work with her on going forward. The Visia photos were no extra charge since I received a treatment and such a unique and enlightening part of my visit to Amee's.

The Hydrafacial itself was a standout experience compared to ones I've had at other med spas in and around Boston. Part of the Platinum treatment included lymphatic drainage massage, and when I asked to see my face halfway through, I was amazed -- the right side looked completely different than the left! Kaytie really was able to give me instant results for a de-puffed, brighter face.

Kaytie performed the Hydrafacial itself expertly. I was comfortable the entire time and she took the time to explain to me how the machine and treatment work in more depth than I've received from other aestheticians in the past. During the LED panel portion of the treatment, she even gave me a gentle scalp massage, helping to end the experience on a relaxing note. Kaytie gave me thorough aftercare instructions and explained how this treatment will fit into and boost my home skincare routine.

I left Amee's absolutely glowing, with the clearest skin I've had in years and a completely de-puffed face. Even two weeks later, I'm still seeing and feeling the difference from the Hydrafacial. I've already booked another Hydrafacial with Kaytie and look forward to working with her on the Ultherapy treatment I booked with her next month!

Update: I went back to Kaytie for an Ultherapy PRIME treatment on my brow area in May and had another great experience! Kaytie customized the treatment for my goals and desired results. She did an amazing job - it's been three weeks and I'm already starting to see early results! I'm happy to be working with Kaytie on my skin. My Visit to Amee’s Medical Spa – January 7th, 2025 I recently visited Amee’s Medical Spa for the second time, after a 3-month gap, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. As always, the spa provided exceptional care, utilizing advanced technology, ensuring safety, and offering professional treatments from their team of certified medical professionals. My esthetician for the session was Grace, one of my favorite technicians. She is highly skilled in client consultations and is incredibly detail-oriented, patient, and professional. I always feel confident and well taken care of under her guidance.

For this visit, I received the Stellar M22 IPL treatment, and the results were absolutely impressive, especially since I hadn’t had a facial in over a month. My skin tone was noticeably brighter, and the treatment significantly helped with my pigmentation. Grace took the time to explain that pigmentation issues could be sunspots, age spots, acne scars, and freckles. The improvement on my skin was visible!

I also noticed my skin feels firmer, and my pores appear much smaller. Grace explained that IPL helps stimulate collagen production, which not only improves skin texture but can lead to a smoother, more even skin tone, reduced acne lesions, and fewer breakouts overall.

I had an awful experience with them today. I found this place with 5-star reviews while searching for a new facial clinic. Since they don’t list their prices on the website, I called to ask for a quote for the specific services I was planning to have. They told me they couldn’t share any information unless I came in person for a consultation.

I drove 20 minutes to the clinic, only to discover they do have a price list for all their services. However, the prices were higher than the market average unless you prepaid $12,000 as credit upfront. I wasn’t comfortable depositing such a large amount at a place I’d never used before. After spending just 3 minutes looking at their prices, I had to drive another 20 minutes back home.

What I don’t understand is: Shouldn’t service prices be transparent? If they’re not listed online, why couldn’t they share the prices when I called and explained exactly what I needed? That way, I could decide whether to visit before wasting 40 minutes driving there and back. It’s frustrating to make that trip just to read a price list they could’ve easily shared...
