Please read my FULL review. Iâm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because no dispensary in MA is 5 stars (although this is probably the closest to 5 stars), Ethos carries Rythm products that have disappointed me every time and somehow they think itâs fire (but so do other dispensaries that popularly carry the brand too), and they donât seem to be knowledgable on taste when it comes to using a vaporizer and using different vaporizers (but neither are any dispensaries here in MA Iâve come across so far).
That being said, Ethos is the only dispensary in Massachusetts (or one of few, thatâs for sure), that actually lists the top TERPENES for each strain. They actually donât list it on every product and have typos or missing info in places but for a lot of strains, they do. Assuming they are accurate (which is another question for how they know the terps), this is amazing. This is the direction the Cannabis industry really needs to go towards. You donât want to blindly spend money on a strain or phenotype you never tried. The only ways to accurately gage if youâll like it is by getting to know terpenes in general (like what each one tastes like to you and your reactions), finding out at least the top terpenes in the strain, and smelling it. However, smelling without knowing the terpenes can be misleading.
Knowing terpenes is especially important now because of Covid, since you canât smell flower in most stores (though I donât know about Ethos, but will ask).
Knowing at least the top terpenes also means that you have control in your hands; youâre not at the mercy of the descriptions written online by a company or other people about the strain and what effects and flavors it will have. These are their thoughts. You can react differently. You could hate the taste and effects. You could be vaping it instead of smoking it; you could have multiple different vaporizers, too. For example, recently, I purchased a very popular and established strain and threw up while vaping it, because I could taste the humulene terpene so severely. I now understand why that is (long explanation), and will avoid strains with certain humulene profiles that I determined I donât like. I know now for the future, but I only know because I understood that this strain had a particular terpene (and terpene profile) that I experienced firsthand and I knew what terpene what in my taste buds.
On top of that, they list way more info about their products (aromas, flavors, effects, I believe genetics, too, and some other things) than any other dispensary Iâve seen. That is on the road to top-notch and just simple decency; that should be standard everywhere.
Thank you Ethos. Youâre the only one in MA thatâs listing terpenes. I think a massive portion of people will start growing at home until more dispensaries do what you do. If youâre going to buy from a dispensary, and you care about getting something close to what you specifically want/need, Ethos is a safe first stop. Otherwise, just grow at home. Massachusetts prices for dispensaries are insane, for a lot of reasons, and on top of that, you are basically buying blind most of the time. Dispensaries and government need to work together to bring prices down and/or have more accurate info be available (Leafly is not accurate a lot of the time!), like what Ethos is doing.
I also want to give a shout out to Kaitlyn (sorry if I mistook your name!)! Thank you for your help and care :) And thank you to everyone else that...
Read moreHello all this is an excellent marijuana dispensary that has very interesting sales that are put on a daily basis. Itâs highly recommended to go online and see what is being discounted on any given day. For example, on Mondays they give 20% off on all vape products And each day they discount a different category.
This essentially means you are not paying the exorbitant Massachusetts marijuana tax.
My only complaint with this destination is they should disc products at 21%, not 20%. This way the discount will be slightly more than eliminating the sales tax and I would recommend this venue even more so than I already do.
I guess my only complaint is, I would like someway to receive further discounts by spreading the good news about this company, online, in person, and whichever other way I can.
I highly recommend they change their policies, so if you write a positive review which is seen by more than 50 people than you will receive a discount on accessories purchases. I believe legally they cannot give discounts or freebies in regards to actual THC products.
I am very familiar with the landscape, in Watertown off the top of my head I know that there is a venue called Budâs goods, & AYR dispensary
I can assure you that the prices at ethos are consistently, the same or lower than the competitors in the area. I will advise, checking the discount sections of their competitors however, as occasionally these prices will beat the ones you find at ethos.
That being said, this rarely happens, so, in some respect it is a waste of time to do this. However, if you are looking for a product that is not being discounted based on the day of the week, I would still recommend checking the prices of AR and buds goods
I have no incentive to write this review, but I emphasize that there should be some mechanism which rewards authentic reviews, which highlight the clean, friendly and inexpensive options available at...
Read moreThis place is rude and arrogant, more than once Iâve been treated poorly. Recently I walked into the front lobby, I was with my wife, she is a medical patient and had a pre order as did I for Rec. We both noticed a smell, it was a chemical/perfume smell very strong. When I asked âwhat is that smellâ? She asked me what it smelled like and as described above I told her. Well she snapped, told me if I didnât like the smell tough. And repeated it to say if I donât like do it then donât come back! I looked around and there was a fan on the ground blowing a section of the carpet behind the counter, I thought to ask is there a spill or something? Well forgive me for wondered if I should be concerned. So I go in to pick up my pre order and the âpersonâ girl? told me I didnât have one in my name. I showed her my confirmation # and that itâs with this store. She claims that there is a glitch in there system and some orders are going to another store. I was confused trying to make sense of it and she gave me a look that she couldnât help me. Asked if I could step aside to figure out my order or use a kiosk. So I found my order from the page and stepped up to another tender who was very cool and helpful, tried my order again confirmed that it definitely went to the other store. No problem Iâll just order those two products now. Oops sorry we just sold out of those a free minutes ago. Now you tell me, didnât it seem they really just didnât want my business at all? True fact, I was the very first customer of this store at the original location when they opened as a med clinic. The staff then were top notch. Now they think they are all that but they really suck! Donât shop here so many better...
