Jojo's is a great place to have some fun drinks. I stopped in with my husband on a Monday night. Not really a night that many people go out but we both had a long day and wanted to stop somewhere for a drink.
It has a certain charm to it, as mainly black furniture and bar and a large martini mural painted on the wall. It is clear that it has been well loved through the years, as you get closer to a table or a bar stool you can see the wear and mysterious stains and discoloration.
One of the great things about Jojo's in the extensive martini menu. From your classic dirty martini to inventive concoctions with a variety of flavors. I tried the gummy bear and the dreamsicle. I thought the drinks were good and they filled them to the rim! Glad we stopped in during happy hour, the drinks range from $12-14. They do have some pizzas you can order too, a couple different options. They aren't anything special, probably a frozen pizza.
Jojo's is a unique place where you can see a variety of people. They could use some updates but what keeps people coming back is the...
Read moreThe martinis are delicious. For realz delicious. Some are even decadent. But that's not why I wanna shout about how great this place is.
Honestly, we were the worst guests. Here for a birthday with a party of 8. The girls started flagging cuz of a food coma. The guys started a pretty destructive game of quarters. Tons of drinks spillage and sloshing. 2 broken glasses. And one loud game of Tell Me Without Telling Me. The servers and bartenders were super patient, super helpful, and super chill. I am legitimately surprised we weren't sternly spoken to or at the very least passive aggressively handled, which I know they didn't cuz I was the only person sober.
I will definitely be coming back to support them! More than a place having good food or great drinks, fantastic staff will always have me...
Read moreThe martinis were lined up, and a time was had!! I went out with coworkers for a little post work holiday party celebration. The atmosphere was nice even with crowded seating (but that seems to be the trend at most bars... to pack you in like sardines). Luckily, the place wasn't packed. They had a good variety of music playing in the background. The bartender was great. She was friendly and attentive. There are sooooo many martinis to choose from!! It's going to take several trips to get through them all. I went with a chocolate theme this night: Snickertini, Chocolatini & Frappetini. We did not order any food. They do offer pizza, or you can order food at the restaurant next door and bring it in. Will be back several times to work my way through the...
