Jennifer Nails — Attraction in Wayne

I had an appointment to have my acrylics removed and press on's put on. I got to my appointment ans the technician asks why I'm there. I said, to have the tips removed and press on's put on. She says ok have a seat. She never soaks my nails just uses a bevel to take the gel off. This concerned me and it brought to her attention. 3 times I said to her during this process, these are coming off and press on's are going on. She just looked at me. Then she begins to prep my nails for color. AgainI tell her im not getting a manicure im getting press on's. Her response was, so you don't want polish? I said I do, but with press on's. She begins to paint my nails. At this point I give up because I don't trust her.

The "manicure" is awful the tips are still underneath so the nails are incredibly bumpy and she didn't even file the nails to a shape. I went back in immediately when I noticed the bumps. I told who I imagined was the owner that just wanted the polish taken off that none of this wasn't ok (mind you, I'm talking quietly and calmly) This woman was kind and very clearly understood what I was showing her. The nail technician begins yelling in another language. This woman has to tell her to stop. It was very kindly explained to me that I couldn't have the polish removed today because it would hurt my nails but to come back in a week.

I won't be doing this. I saw so many good reviews but one technician who couldn't take the time to understand what my appointment was and then had the audacity to yell, ruined...

I recently went to Esthetic Nails for the first time and it will be my last. I wanted to get my gels off and a regular manicure (I didn't want my gels anymore). It look over 45 minutes to get my old gels off compared to the 20 minutes it takes anywhere else I have been. Also, I was not told until the process of taking my gels off that they charge for that on top of the manicure (which is not written on their price list). That is something that you need to tell the customer right away since the other 2 nail places I go to do not charge for that. I didn't even stay for the manicure. When I left and gave a tip to the women who took my gels off, she was so cold and seemed mad I wanted to leave.
