The store and market was absolutely lovely! A good variety of plants and unique pots and local food. However, there was a lot of sections with unmarked plants. I picked up some to bring to the counter and figure out what it is. The lady working wasn't sure at first what the plant was then told me the plant's name. I asked her if she knew how to care for it (I've never heard of this plant or seen it before) and she straight up told me to google it. Well, I hate to break it to you but this is your store and your plants so YOU should be the one who is knowledgeable, not me. I didn't say anything but it was incredibly rude. I even asked if they had any leftover plant tags and she said just to use Google lens and figure it out myself. I put my plant back and walked out. They don't deserve my business if they can't even tell me what they're selling. At least say you don't know or acknowledge you're not sure, instead of making the customer look stupid by making THEM Google it. Also- I have used Google lens in the past on plants and it's hardly reliable, so that wasn't even good...
Read moreJust writing this review makes me smile😊I dropped in here the other day to get some pansies. Well I left with a trunk full of goodies! This is a great place to find local plants and flowers that will thrive in your garden. They have unique garden decor and pottery. I was able to get two (really hard to buy for) people birthday gifts. They have fresh fruit, veggies, nuts, and other food items that you cannot find at Walmart. For Fall decorating, you could not ask for a better place. The hay bells, unique pumpkins, and other fall fun you are looking for is available here. Even before we moved to Weatherford, we would drive here just to visit, and this was a must stop on our list. If I need some retail therapy, to treat myself, or a special gift, you can bet I am going here. They have such friendly staff. The prices are mostly fair too😉 You are highly likely to catch me here. Make sure and tell them Ashley sent you and that I said I would...
Read moreWe were on our way from Dallas to Possum Kingdom Lake, and decided to stop here. We lived in Mineral Wells for six years back in the late 60s/early 70s, so we know the area well. We knew of the annual peach festival in Weatherford. Maybe we were too early or too late, because the peaches they had for sale were awful. Small and covered with dark splotches, like they were spoiled. They had signs everywhere saying, "Do not pick through peaches," like they wanted you to accept a box of undersized, bruised peaches. The rest of the produce was nothing to write home about, either. $3.50 for a cantaloupe? There was the usual wall of condiments, jams and jellies, many approaching the $8 mark. We left without buying anything. At least the cold, bottled water was only a dollar. We already had...
