Webb City Public Library — Attraction in Webb City

The first time I entered this library was in approximately 1963-64. I had not known such a place existed. The west side door creaked and moaned as it opened. I fell in love with the entire concept! It's even more special to me now because my daughter has worked here for so many years (yes, I'm biased). just went to return a book today and was told i have to pay for the book in full. when i checked out the book in the first place it was visibly damaged. but they claimed it had never been checked out before. which obviously it had considering there was what looked like coffee stains all over it when i was looking at it on the shelf. horrible record keeping and customer service. $28 for something i know for a fact wasnt me. i would give 0 stars if that...

For a small town, the Webb City library has everything I need....and they're willing to borrow what they don't have on hand from sister libraries. I'm going there today to pick up a new book they have on hold for me.
