Bamboo — Restaurant in Webb City

We ordered cashew chicken and veggie lo mein. The chicken was hard and tasted old and like it was dropped on the floor, picked up and then served. The rice was mushy on the outside and hard in the middle. The veggies were good but the noodles were not cooked completely. The sauce was burnt. I called and said something. The manager did not want to make things right. She never offered to recook the food or refund the money. She wanted to give me a credit. Come on do you really think I want a credit when I will never eat there? You could of offered to recook the food. This was added after the restaurant replied. The only thing offered was a credit. NEVER TO REMAKE THE FOOD. Again I would never want a credit with that type of customer service and quality of food. In the past your food was ok, now it is absolutely horrible. The small town Chinese restaurant definitely has the small town feel. The employees were polite, helpful in answering questions about the menu, and very quick in service. I ordered the spicy cashew chicken as cashew chicken is my favorite and I love spice, but I’d never heard of this before. I asked for sauce on the side because I wasn’t sure how I’d like it. It was delightful!!! The chicken was juicy and perfectly crispy, the rice was tender and cooked just right, and the spicy cashew sauce had crunchy onions that gave the entire dish some excellent texture. The crab Rangoon was creamy, crispy, and perfectly balanced not too sweet which happens in a lot of places. I also love that they have daily specials!! Way to go Webb...

Reading the recent reviews are pretty good so I’m not understanding why my food was gross both my wife and my chicken was tough and disgusting and was missing the cashews and onions on an order. The chicken was like it was cooked hours prior. This was on a Friday night so no excuse there. It had been a year since I ordered because of similar problems. Crab Rangoons were good and that’s about it. I have when your order is crammed in a small bag and all tied up so you can’t check before you leave only to get the disappointment once you’re home.
