Sleep Inn & Suites Webb City — Hotel in Webb City

My husband and I got the chance to steal an evening to ourselves and we thought we would try Sleep Inn & Suites in Webb City, MO. I just want to say, “Wow!” We walked in and were immediately greeted at the check in desk. Then we had a pleasant ride in the elevator with the kindest lady who looked like she cleaned the rooms. We walk into our room and it was so cold in there which was so awesome because at other hotels I’ve stayed at the a/c is set really high leaving the room stuffy for when a guest arrives. We then took showers to wash the roadtrip off and we were surprised by the quality of shower products. My husband loved the shampoo, conditioner, soap brand so much he had me google it when we got home to see if we could buy it for the house. Then-the bed! Hotel pillows are always a disappointment - they are either too flat or too firm but these pillows felt like you were lying on little clouds and we slept so good! So after a wonderful nights sleep we wandered downstairs to see what was for breakfast and to my surprise it was a full course meal! Fresh scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, fresh danishes and bagels, waffles, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, etc. It was the best breakfast I’ve ever been to! I just wanted to write this review to say thank you to the owners! Thank you for taking such good care of your guests and for making a rare occasion feel like a special occasion! We chose to stay at this property because it was the highest rated Choice property in the Joplin area. We now know why it is so highly regarded. The property is immaculate. The staff is friendly, helpful, and abundant (a struggle in the hospitality industry post-Covid). The location is central to everything in this area. The amenities are certainly top notched and in line with Choice's higher tiered flags. Plainly said, this location is better pound for pound than virtually all Choice products we have stayed in. They even have a unique feature that I have not seen outside of resorts. A game room full of big screens and Nintendo consoles. I am sure it is popular with travel ball teams. Breakfast was exceptional with many choices including several Glutin Free choices. The coffee machine stopped working properly during breakfast. While a lot of places would have waited for the vendor to come fix it, the owner and staff spent a little time and brought it back on line. Who does that? All that said, the absolutely most impressive thing to me is that the local owners were on property and in the mix with their staff. They were running around greeting the guests and picking up the breakfast area. They also took the time to answer my questions and talk about the local attractions.
