Mining Days Amphitheater — Attraction in Webb City

Nice big Park where the Praying Hands are on 171 Hwy going thru Webb City, Mo. I enjoy going to watch the geese/ducks on the pond there. After the sun goes down, there is a nice big foot bridge that goes across the water that's all lit up pretty with lights. They have a few picnic tables w/ BBQ grills around the pond, and Restrooms w/a large pavilion and tables also. Next to it is a playground for the kids. They have So much room for events, I'd like to see craft shows, music ect. happening there. That would be awesome for venders and people to enjoy. Someone said they have music at this amplitheater in the picture, on "1st Thursdays" of the mo., but I've never heard anything about it. No advertising/FB? I've lived in this area 4 yrs, Never heard a word about activities there tho. I will be checking into it. Sorry I didn't have that information for...

I asked my maps to find me the Webb City mining museum, but it took me to an small building in King Jack Park. They were hosting a campaign rally at the time. And some ex-dea Christian got into a conversation with me for way too long...
