A cute playground with a few different sections that offer kids of varied ages a stimulating time for play. Beautiful view of NYC from Boulevard East. It has a ramp and various kinds of swings; a good picnic table sitting area with shade practically in the center of all the action so you can stay in sight of your child. Theodore Roosevelt School uses it as a space for recess during the school year when the weather is pleasant and it’s a hub for local community events (like the Easter egg hunt). Read moreLouisa Park is an ok playground for kids. The view is spectacular, of course. But the playground itself is old, tired and in much need of new equipment. It’s nice that they have a separate area for the 2-5 age range. But it’s not monitored as such. During warmer months this playground can get pretty crowded. During the pandemic, the town has been really good about monitoring the amount of people and taking temperatures before people enter.

Read moreLouisa Park is by far the nicest playground in Weehawken with amazing views of New York. Well maintained, clean and plenty of seating, picnic benches and shaded areas. There are swings (including for babies), slides, jungle gyms and climbing equipment. Great for 2-12 year olds. The water sprinklers are turned on in the summer and are great fun for all kids.
