This school is very good for those who want to learn how to drive. I took classes with Ted and Jerry.
Ted is a very chill instructor, who makes you feel calm during the lesson. I recall my first lesson with him, he noticed I was nervous and asked what music I liked listening to, so he could play it throughout our lesson to calm me down. He also gave me various tips when it came to parallel parking, which were helpful in advancing my learning. Overall, he's the one to ask for if you want to have a relaxed experience, as I know some people are afraid of having that "mean" instructor.
As for Jerry, I'd say he leans more toward the stricter side, but that's what makes him a great instructor. When I took lessons with him, any mistake I made he'd immediately call me out (not looking at my blind spot when switching lanes, improper steering, etc.) By him doing that, I was able to improve my driving significantly. He also gave me helpful tips throughout the lesson, that assisted me in passing my road test. Ultimately, he's more professional and guarantees you're actually learning the second you step in the vehicle.
Today, I took my road test, and I had a lesson with Amparo an hour before my test so that I can be prepared. She had a very good attitude, and during the lesson, she taught me how to fix common mistakes made when parallel parking, doing the k-turn, and reversing. She also made sure all mirrors were adjusted properly for me so that I could pass with ease. Overall, she was amazing, and because of her, I managed to pass my road test.
All in all, I recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn how to drive, and the instructor's excellent expertise will ensure you pass...
Read moreStephany(ie) was my instructor for 2 out of my 4 classes. She was always on her phone calling her family complaining she had to get a pedicure and no one wanted to take care of her child. She had loud music on in the car and almost never looked at the road. All her directions were go left go right be careful while she would not even be looking. We stopped at quickcheck after I dropped off the student before me. She took 15 minutes in total inside. My second appointment with her she brought her own food and made the car smell. She said she has been an instructor for 10 years but I certainly don’t believe her. It wasn’t until my third appointment with a different instructor Hugo I learned how to hand over hand steering. Stephanie(y) never told me anything about it and it made me more difficult for me to adjust to. Hugo is kind and helpful and he taught me how to over hand steer. His parking lesson take a little bit to understand but I still got the hang of it. Julio not Julian was the best at teaching me how to park and K turn no complains on him. I failed my road test the first attempt due to a k turn and the lady that takes you to the road test doesn’t tell you there is 2 pot holes in the first parking and 1 in the second parking at the lodi dmv. They also pick you up with other students. The review you pay more for is only 2 practices of parking and k turns and then you go the dmv. If you’re you going make so much money charging that much to go with other students you should at least spend more time with them reviewing. Overall I would not recommend this school. At least with Hugo or Julio as your instructor you should feel safe with but I highly advise a...
Read moreThe instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and very experienced individuals and the cost of classes is at a fair price. There is huge lack of communication and set schedule changes and times. I understand that this is a new establishment so I will be impartial to the best that I can. Perhaps the overbooking of new students and clients causes them to constantly have your schedule switched and your times that are set on specific hours be changed or rotated without your notification or approval, what was supposed to be my first class was at 1-3 but the day of or the night before you will be notified almost last minute that the instructors are not available and this happened three times and I’ve been flexible with them on having set times. Unfortunately with the second round of classes my time slot was changed once again. I will say for this business to properly move forward that they definitely be more conscious of peoples fixed availability, and perhaps creating a website in which the timeslots can be chosen by one. In the future, perhaps there can be more...
