Maus Jewelers — Attraction in West Bend

I need to give a solid shout out to Maus Jewelers. Long story short, I walked in off the street yesterday expecting to - at best - leave a gold chain there to be picked up in a week or two when an extension was added or - at worst - leave with a high estimate for the job. In fact, Justin came right out from the back and offered me an alternative solution to my chain dilemma. Typical me, I second guessed my decision and by this morning had changed my mind. He and his staff welcomed me back, reversed our chain swap, replaced not one but two barrel clasps right then and there, and were super patient throughout the entire exchange (both visits). I am "that" customer who just can't make up her mind, and they were awesome. Plus, the price was fair, Justin is honest (he could have kept my original gold clasps and I wouldn't have thought twice about it), and his store is filled with beautiful jewelry of all types. I purchased my engagement ring and wedding band approx. 25 years ago from the owner now who was the same owner 25 years ago. I have had exceptional customer service every single time I have entered his store. He stands behind his products 100% and takes great pride in his work. He is honest. Has integrity and is humble. I have no desire to enter a chain jewelry store where their goal is to sell you a piece of jewelry from the moment you walk you.

At Maus Jewlers I have never felt any pressure to buy something I am looking at. They will give suggestions and tell you about other options but if you tell them your not sure or not ready to buy they have always been respectful to that.

This is why, when I am ready, I go back to them. It doesnt matter if there were to be a price difference between them and a bigger store, I dont even bother...

So I dropped off a ring to be resized (needed larger by four sizes) on a Friday, with the expectation to taking one-to-two weeks minimum. Here it is on a Tuesday, I get the call that it is ready. Not only was I already impressed about their speed of service, but the job they did cannot be described with words. I am somewhat cynical by nature, so the recommendation of stretching the ring instead of adding gold was something I was skeptical on doing…but that was Justin’s recommendation - and he was beyond correct. When I came in to pick up the ring, I was so astounded with the job he did.
