The cashier made a mistake with the transaction, which I didnāt catch until I saw an incorrect credit to my account. I called the store and was told I could drive back to the store (45 minutes one way) to fix the error or call customer service. I opted to called customer service. 49 minutes into the call the CSR conferences me on with someone at the store who didnāt realize I was on the call. I listen to a person saying the error was not their fault but was somehow tied to discounts given online. The transaction was an even exchange but I was charged an additional amount due to the cashierās mistake. Ultimately, I received the credit but donāt feel comfortable with how this was managed.
