I rarely ever, EVER leave a review so I believe this one shall hold a little weight. I've been coming to this pharmacy for atleast 10 years and there is this African pharmacist that ALWAYS seems to go out of his way to give me a hard time on filling my prescriptions since the first day I've ever met him. The other pharmacists I've ever came across were absolutely great. However - I have a REFILL on a 30 day supply of a medication so trying to make everyone's life as easy as possible the app is what I orchestrate my pickups through. I sent in my refill and left a generous message stating if there was any questions to please call or text me back. I received a call on Sunday morning and said hello and he hung up. I leave a message on the app restating for a call back again. And then for first conversation he tells me that I won't be able to get a prescription renewed because it expired. (I refilled it via app on the 30th day) He calls to tell me that it is expired and in the state of NJ I will have to call my Dr and get another prescription while rushing me off the phone without me being able to get a chance to get a word out to hold a conversation or ask any questions. I look back at my app and it clearly states that I have a refill eligible. The last pick up was July 17th. Today is August 17th. I then leave ANOTHER message on the app recycling what I priorly just stated. He calls me back again (in a timely fashion I will say) and starts telling me to "count the days. It was picked up on the 15th, today is the 17th" HUH? Wouldn't that mean i'm eligible from his earlier conversation when he tells me it expires after 30 days? I tried filling it earlier but the app said it was too early????? I wasn't a math major but this and HIS additions don't add up. When I tried filling it days prior on the app it reports that its too early to fill. Hm, interesting. And then he proceeds to blatantly raise his voice combativly telling me to "count the days! COUNT THEM! You will NOT be getting this prescription filled here!" Weird... I feel like when I talk to my doctor again which will be tomorrow (Monday) he will call the pharmacy and I infact as I have been, (for 10 or whatever years I've been coming here) will definitely be getting my prescription filled THERE...I have always been respectful to anyone working here. I have never had an issue with any other pharmacists or techs. I'm not quite sure what this man's issue is with me but hopefully I don't have to speak or see him ever again.
PS All the other pharmacists are absolutely wonderful. But do NOT try to get anything filled on his...
Read moreThis cvs is by far the worst. I went here last night around approximately 10:10PM. I called prior to going in and the hold time before speaking with Albert at the pharmacy was approx 18 min. Albert was very rude over the phone raising his tone in a passive aggressive manner. I overlooked it and didn’t say anything to him regarding his approach. While at the store I was looking for Benadryl and was not able to find the single packets I was looking for so I brought two juices and picked up my prescription. While going through the checkout process I asked Albert to please ring my two juices. Rather then Albert inform me that he will process the Rx transaction first followed by the transaction for the purchase of the juice he told me to sign the pin pad I said no problem but can u please add the juices he insisted with an aggressive tone and very rude for me to sign the pin pad. At this point I informed Albert you need to be mindful as for how you speak to people. At this point Albert took offense and began raising his tone. I informed him calmly you may not feel that your approach is rude or incorrect but as a customer I am informing you that your approach is unnecessarily aggressive and the way your approach it’s coming off to be rude. At this point Albert began to raise his tone again taking offense at that point I informed him I will not go back and forth with you but just know let this be the last time u raise your tone at me and speak to me in the manner you choose. Albert than shoved my change into my hand dropping two coins onto the counter dismissing me while raising his tone. I then went to the front to ask who the store manager was and was told by a Caucasian female with dark blonde hair that’s she is unable to provide me with the store managers name. I then asked her extremely angry how can you not provide the store manager name when I can call corporate or go online to get that information. At this point I knew that this store itself lacks supervision and management is clearly complacent and lackadaisical. The behavior that was presented by that pharmacy tech was extremely disrespectful. I am more irritated because the pharmacy tech was a minority and I am one myself as we are frowned upon as is. I am far from an ignorant individual but what more so got under my skin was knowing that if someone of different ethnicity was at that counter Albert would not have conducted himself in that manner. If this is the kind of behavior that cvs allows I’m disgusted and I really hope that someone reviews CCTV to see the behavior and actions of their...
Read moreI came to CVS to use the ATM and get change as I have several times in the past. The line behind me continued to grow as the only cashier was stuck helping a customer. They called to another cashier for help to which she replied "the self check out is open they can use self check out" I replied no we can't. The customers behind me were elderly and unable to use self check out and I couldn't get the change I needed without the help of a cashier. She walked over to the register and asked what I wanted, when asking for change she answered I cant help you. I asked why not as I had gotten change several times in the past to which she angrily insisted on having no change to give me without having ever opened the register. When asking the other cashier for change she said I cant do anything I cannot help you. Extremely unhelpful and lacking even then most basic customer service skills. Unhappy with my service and would expect more from CVS. I have used CVS for many years but will not continue to go if this is the quality service that is accepted here. I went to Starbucks next door and the cashier happily gave me change and when i explained the struggle I was going through to simply get change she also expressed she's had many bad experiences at this CVS with the same worker. Coincidence? Nope just...
