Jessie Nails — Attraction in West Caldwell

I hate to even have to leave this review, as the experience and employees were nice - 3 days ago my boyfriend and I went for pedicures. I also got a manicure as we had a wedding to attend the next day.

I got French tips, and while they came out nice looking, the entire process was LONG- the (very sweet) woman doing my nails spent over an hour just filing them alone after getting the tips glued on, and seemed hyper focused on filing one or two nails in particular, over and over; my cuticles ended up bleeding, which she gave me a paper towel for. It seemed excessive, but I figured it was going to turn out nice in the end, so I would be okay. We were there for almost 3 hours in total. The massages and pedicures were fantastic!

As soon as we got home from the wedding, as I was taking my hair down, one of my nails snapped right off, broken in the middle (leaving part of the hard gel near my cuticles). I was confused, as usually these kinds of nails are impossible for me to get off!

I was thinking about going back to have it fixed the next day, but almost immediately the next morning, doing simple things, two more nails broke off in the same spot as the first. I am now questioning the integrity of the rest of the nails and will not be paying to fix them.

I am sad because this place has great potential, but it seems like the quality is lacking. Can’t say I’ll be back or recommending to anyone in...

I had the worst pedicure experience today. Too bad as I used to like the place but I will not be returning now. The girl doing my gel pedi must have either not spoken good English or chose to completely ignore what I said. My nails were filed not evenly and she left sharp edges. When I asked her to make them even, she filed the wrong way and made it worse. After a couple of tries, I had to file them on my own using her file. Also, she was super rough and eventually cut me. My blood got under my polish so I asked her to remove the polish from my toe and apply a new coat. She did not want to do it. In addition, my heels were not cleaned at all. I was going to pay $50 for a gel pedicure so I expected decent callus removal. The new girl was brought toward the end to finish my pedi. I was there for close to 2 hrs. No one apologized to me for cutting me and for all this disaster of a pedi. The owner kind of made fun of me. I hope I don’t get an infection and I am definitely...

Went to get mani/pedis with my niece. I had never been here before but they were able to get us in quickly unlike a few other salons I had tried calling before them. Everyone there was so sweet and made my 7 yr old niece feel very special & pampered. We both had a great experience. They even gave my niece a special design on her nails that she loved to show off. Parking was easy, service was professional and friendly & prices were reasonable....
