it's pretty gross... don't recommend coming here for anything other than laser tag (if even). the "arcade" area and the restrooms are rather decrepit. they had more "out of order" signs than I've ever seen in a business in my life. Many of the kids who were there for birthday parties seemed disappointed - especially since they were limited to only one game of laser tag; for what i imagine was a much overpriced "party package" of some sorts. There were three of us, and we are by no means pros at laser tag - we simply came here to have fun. we paid for full day passes of laser tag. the last 2 of the 3 times we played a round of laser tag; an employee (who must've been off the clock, but was very clearly an employee,) joined our rounds and basically ruined it for us. He was a bit pretentious; and while in the game, he would pretend to be "coaching" us on stuff, but then he would constantly shoot us --- while also pretending to "coach" and "teach" us about the layout / bases!!! He even yelled at me a few times "YoU cAn'T dO tHaT!" when i was chasing after one of my friends. Like, I'm sorry?? Nowhere in the rules that we were told did it say I can't chase my friend and shoot my laser gun at him. Once we realized this dude was living out his dream of being a pro and upping his personal scoreboard points by attacking some amateurs who were just here to have a fun time, we decided it wasn't worth it, and we'd be better off cutting our visit short. SUPER tactless, and a great way to ensure we will play elsewhere...
Read moreLaserLand in Covina is a favorite local spot for family entertainment. It's a good child/parent outing when you need to burn some energy and create memories together.
The facility is clean and well-maintained with an impressive multi-level laser tag arena that offers enough hiding spots and strategic points to keep both kids and adults engaged. The lighting effects and sound system create an immersive experience that gets everyone's adrenaline pumping.
At $26 per person for an hour, the pricing is reasonable considering the amount of fun packed into that time. Unlike some entertainment venues where you're constantly reaching for your wallet, this feels like fair value for the experience. They also offer package deals that can make it even more economical for return visits.
The staff is friendly (Troy especially was great), and provides clear instructions for first-timers, making it accessible even if you've never played laser tag before. Equipment is in good working order, though occasionally you might get a vest with sensitivity issues.
We came on a Friday and it was empty, just the two of us. But worth planning ahead for. I can see it becoming a fun go-to activity when we need some active parent/child bonding time that doesn't involve screens or sugar...
Read moreMy boys had such a great time. We went on a Tuesday so it was basically just us but the staff was amazing. I had my baby and toddler with me and they allowed me to be in the maze to watch my boys play. That was because it was just us, I imagine that when there is full players, then that would not happen. They even let us see the zombie maze after the boys played the regular maze since the boys were a little hesitant. It was a bit creepy but so cool. Very flexible, helpful and knowledgeable. My only con is the bathrooms were a bit dirty and they did not have a changing table. Overall, looking forward to brining the boys again and...
