El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in West Covina

Had a Bad experience with this location again . Probably the last time at this location. 1-5-17 6:30 P.M. No hot ready chicken , Filthy dinning room. Filthy salsa bar. Wait time was about 20 minuets for cold chicken ,cold and runny mac n cheese, water with some beans in it , and salsa still had not been serviced , after mentioning it to cashier . Last 3 visits were bad times. Like the product and the brand. Still eat at the Walnut store 21610 Valley Blvd Walnut 91789, Or 1343 Nogales st. Rowland Heights 91748 The only redeeming factor was refunded by the cashier because female mgr/asst.when told we want a refund stopped talking to us and went back to work, leaving cashier to answer for poor service. Took refund and went across driveway to WENDY'S .Family can't stand Wendy's but it was Hot and the dinning room is Clean and the people are Friendly. Our first time here only because it's near our son and daughters house. It's a little unorganized when asking for help about the El Pollo Loco App no one knew how to use or operate it. We we're told the manager was cooking then asking another employee he said the manager was at the register and would help us. After being declined the chicken bowl (advertisement states download the app get a free chicken bowl) the previous person (male) at the register didn't say anything as we explained our situation. He ignored us trying to get the chicken bowl. The female manager finally came to our rescue, we explained what was happening and she said "No problem, I'll get you your chicken bowl". I didn't get her name but she was the only female working and was on point with customer service and doing everything in her power to make things right. I ordered and paid for a double chicken tostada, a street chicken and corn bowl (without avocado), and 2 chicken tacos al carbon. The entire order was messed up. I did not get the tostada. I got a chicken bowl that had beans, rice, chicken and cheese. The street chicken and corn bowl had avocado, which I specifically asked to exclude, and I only got one tiny street taco. I've never been so disappointed. I did not eat the chicken bowl. I wanted a tostada salad. I was also supposed to get a side of corn tortilla, which I didn't get.
