Quickly — Restaurant in West Covina

First of all, this is my first time at this location, but definitely not my first Quickly. I used to frequent the Quickly in Temple City, which is always bustling with business for at least 10 years strong now since I was in high school.

This Quickly immediately took me by surprise with how run down it is.

Atmosphere. The baby plaza in itself is a little dull, but inside this Quickly there are no seats available, all chairs and tables are in the back closed off so it's a pickup only, not even seats for those waiting for their food, so if you are handicap or have a hard time standing for too long good luck. It seems the owner may have trouble paying bills because the lights were almost nonexistent, as well as its music(there was none playing so it was silent when I went). You couldn't really tell it was open unless you walked inside and saw an employee.

Menu size and price. This location has maybe half the menu size at other Quickly establishments, and even then charge $8.10 for a bag of popcorn chicken that is definitely higher than others, I guess price varies by location. Also not sure if it's just who was seasoning the chicken at the time, but if you want mild popcorn chicken, get the spicy. The mild had no spiciness, while the spicy was just a touch of nice spice. Get extra spicy most likely if you want some actual spiciness.

Accuracy. We had what I thought was a rather simple order, only one other customer in there waiting with us and we just ordered two popcorn chickens and an XL strawberry smoothie. Took around 10 minutes, and we ended up getting a strawberry slush, which is not the same thing and is usually $1 cheaper than the smoothie, that we paid full price for. Luckily we do enjoy the strawberry slush just the same, but it was a mistake nonetheless.

Personnel. Service was thankfully friendly, but again, drink made by this employee was incorrect so kindness was all this place really has going for it.

Overall, I would not visit again, as I would prefer to see better pricing, menus, atmosphere, and order accuracy. I will be checking out other Quickly establishments around, despite a longer drive, even though this one is less than 4 minutes from my new home. Sorry if this review is a little rough, but I had...

Simply put. Horrible. I purchased a persoal pan (thick crust). 4 tiny pieces were NOT thick crust and took 38 minutes! I walked to Home Depot, shopped, walked back and tiny pizza was still not done! Excuse was "thick crust takes longer". Longer than what? I have frequented many, many RT locations pre-Covid and this was the worst and last. Also facilty was being facilitated by 2 children. I have been coming to this place for years. I love their popcorn chicken, although it's a bit pricey now. I'm not a fan of the drink flavor changing depending on who makes it. I miss the place being open for sitting in. The guy always played music and put on Netflix. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Overall , it's a great place to stop and get a quick snack.
