Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in West Covina

I had an issue that I wanted to bring to the managers attention. I asked to speak to the manager and a woman walked to the back and came back and said “You can speak to me” I indicated I would like to speak to the manager. Then, with an attitude she said” well he is not here you can speak to me” That made me a bit upset as a customer. I said what’s his name and at first she was evasive. I asked again what the mangers name was and she said “his name is Tito” I did not appreciate her tone. I asked her name she said”Veronica” I said okay and sat down. I did not feel comfortable with the conversation, so I was on my way back to the front and a girl that was not present during my exchange with Veronica asked me “ is everything I Kay” I said “why are you asking me that” She said “I just want to know” that lead me to believe I was being spoken about in the back which I did not appreciate. She walked away. I then went back to the counter to confirm who the manager was and the girl just kept saying he is not here totally ignoring my question. She walked to the back and then Veronica came back out and I asked her why did the girl not confirm who the manager was? She said” I don’t know” That just made me feel like the manager was in the back and avoiding a conversation. I left my number for the manager. Let’s see if I actual speak with him. Last Wednesday, my wife and I decided to go to get a pizza, so we went to Round Table Pizza in South Azusa Ave West Covina for the very first time to try the Round Table Pizza. We approach the young lady in the back of the counter, and we ordered a pizza and not to forget the girl had no personality at all. After we ordered the pizza I noticed that they have a salad bar and I ordered the salad bar she told me you could only have one trip to salad bar. I've never heard any salad bar that you could only have one trip. We set at the table and got our pizza. That cust us $32.00 just for the pizza and that pizza was not that great. We ate part of that pizza and take the rest of it to home. As we were leaving, I looked back in the pizza shop we're they were making pizza noticed that girl was making a pizza with the bare hand and prior to that she was taking cash at the cash register with the same hands she was making pizza. Picking a to-go pizza and some wings before 6 pm Fri night, understood not all servers coming across pleasant and welcoming in a laborious, yet underpaid space. However, this lady was on top of the playing field with her curvy and amiable presence, warmly and generously rendering greetings, and I was informed promptly only to take 5 more minutes. I laid my to-go bag on the side, asking her to watch for it, while excusing myself for a few quick minutes. When I re-emerged, the order was already wrapped inside the bag sitting at the food counter, neat and tight. I didn’t take it lightly, the no fuss and attentive exchanges. Guess partly had to credit the rain storm, hardly as crowded as normal days, yet circumstances reveal who one is as the cliche goes, I have come across countless grouchy faces on cloudy days.
