Normally, I do not leave negative reviews on businesses, but I had such a horrendous experience at this establishment. First off, I want to say that this was my first (and last) time that I have been here. I gave this place a try because it had good ratings but DO NOT COME HERE FOR A HAIRCUT. I normally do not trust people to cut my hair and this experience confirmed that. I was scheduled with a girl named allie. The salon neglected to tell me that she is an APPRENTICE. Otherwise, I would have taken my business elsewhere. I asked for a simple haircut. My hair was very long and I advised her to trim my hair 3 inches below my shoulder. I informed her I wanted layers and bangs. I trusted her (big mistake) but then she then proceeds to ABSOLUTELY BUTCHER my hair. I wish I could upload a picture but it has made me so self conscious this past month. I have worn a hat for the past month in hopes of it growing back asap. She cut layers that were all the way to my scalp, which made my hair look like a bubble. (Karen haircut) She gave me the chunkiest bangs in the whole world. I went to grab my hair after she finish and I had maybe 2 in of hair at most. (Aka wayyyy below what I asked) I gave this girl very clear instructions and even showed her pictures. I don’t know if she intentionally ruined my hair or if she is just genuinely inexperienced and incapable of cutting hair properly. DO NOT GET A HAIRCUT HERE and if they assign you allie run as far away...

This experience was a couple months ago but Im still leaving a review because I initially left a good review out of guilt and shame.I normally don’t leave one star reviews even if im not satisfied with the service. I started my appointment sitting in the common area for a bit longer than 30 minutes because I was told they were busy even though people were coming in after me and getting their hair done. Im not familiar with who did my hair, but my request for a CUT and TOUCH UP/COLOR was extremely clear. I asked for my roots to be bleached, my entire head to be covered in one solid color, and for my hair to be layered. Verbatim what I said. I even offered a picture of what I wanted my color to be, which was a bright jewel toned purple. Not only did she bleach my entire head, but she dyed it BLUE. No scissors touched my head at ALL and it was $100!!!! Plus the money it took me to make my hair what I wanted it to look like. I feel like I was lured into a false sense of security due to all of the positive reviews I’d seen before I came. I asked for my hair to be blonde again maybe a color correction with roots done up so that it would fade naturally i made it very clear my hair had been blonde for over 5 years and had a one time light brown put on it 4 months ago and that i wanted it blonde again. I paid 175 dollars to go home and cry. I was told it was unpredictable yet savannah bragged the whole time how well my hair lifted. I left because she was arguing with me instead of caring that she did not do what I asked her to do. She had another client come in half way through my appointment and left me hanging had someone wash my hair very roughly. I didnt get what I asked for I got what she wanted to throw together and call it a day. I have had the same 2 hair dressers for 6 years. She didnt blow dry my hair style it or cut it and charged me 175 dollars for brown hair with highlights. This place has amazing hair dressers I know people who go here but if u care about your hair being done how you ask it dont use the girl...
