OMG!! Image Care West orange!!! That’s all you need to know… here I am walked in after an unexpected rain and accident on the parkway I was like overly late worrying about being cancelled you know nowadays folks don’t care what u got going on well I got here and friendly front desk lady helped me with a Smile mind u it was after 7:30 yes after a long day she still had a smile on her face greet me then within less than 5min another gorgeous smile greeted me to the exam room I was beyond happy get this it didn’t stop there.. she asked me do I have a music preference so I thought really maybe she’ll play a variety baby she asked for in this moment specific song I’d like to listen to so I told her omg 🥰🥰🥰 I got comfortable with ear protection and a headphone on then boom my favorite all time favorite music was playing get this not once not 2 on Repeat for my entire 20 minutes I mean I was smiling from ear to ear my entire 32 teeth were out but no one saw so I thought I’d let y’all know how amazing that place was y’all gotta go there for your MRI needs if you’re like me dealing with shenanigans daily and got an mri scheduled that’s where u want it because you’ll feel relaxed comfortable it might be the only 20 minutes you’ll spend comfortably that day!! Then back home to the kids and real life I go … thank you image care west orange and staff oh and the ladies were gorgeous a genuine happy smile shows u the love what they do man and I like that. Especially nowadays. So again...

This was the worst experience I have ever had attending an appointment for an MRI in my 50 years of being alive and I have had several MRIs completed, the absolute incompetence of some of the individuals who work there at the Image Center of West Orange office is astounding. I am bruised in three areas of my arms due to being treated like a pin cushion because the nurse practitioner could not insert an IV, years of experience my ass. I went in for an MRI, the moron who have me ear plugs hi list placed them on the surface of my ears and then placed headphones over my head, I don’t mind the sound of the MRI machine, but coupled with the sound of the psyops noise coming out of the headphones it was like being tortured. I was yelling for someone to turn down the headphones and all they did was give me this little pressure ball they said to squeeze which I barely held in my hand and they said that they couldn’t respond to me because the told me I was squeezing it. The lack of empathy and compassion for someone with cancer there is absolutely mind numbing to me, My blood pressure is rising just typing this review. I’ve tried several times to schedule an ultrasound appointment at ImageCare Radiology in West Orange for my elderly father, who has chronic kidney disease, and my experience has been very disappointing. I’ve called three different times. The first time, as soon as I mentioned where I lived (Newark), the call was disconnected. No one attempted to call me back. The second time, I was left on hold for over 10 minutes before I gave up. When I called again later that day, I was placed in the queue with a “one minute wait,” but when someone picked up, I was immediately hung up on.

Meanwhile, when a friend of mine (who happens to be Caucasian) called, she was able to make an appointment right away without any issues. This makes me feel that patients may be treated differently based on where they live—or worse, who they are.

This kind of service is unprofessional, discouraging, and unfair. My father is 85 years old and deserves proper care, not barriers to something as basic as scheduling an appointment. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews how calls and patients are...
