The Loft at 350 — Attraction in West Orange

I could write a novel of a review but I'm going to do my best to be as nice as I can. As a event planner and floral designer for 30 years I have never had the lack of communication or disorganization like this venue. Room was supposed to be ready for me to decorate the day before the wedding..nothing was done. Maybe they don't have enough staff but honestly that's not my problem. Floors were dirty after repeating numerous times floors need to be cleaned. Light bulbs out..their response..thats not my job. Place is very dirty..walls had rusty water marks which I asked to be cleaned. When they didn't do it, I did it myself. No wonder they keep the lights very dim..so you can't see all the dirt. I had to tell them to clean the bathrooms..and empty trash. The paper towel dispensers don't work so they had paper towels laying on top. And no soap! I brought soap from home to put in the bathroom for the guests. The food was ok at best. The only reason this gets 2 stars is that the staff during the event were sweet and tried their best and worked hard. This place needs a complete overhaul cleaning...

We just had our wedding here and it was great. The food was top notch. Dinner and cocktail hour was great and everyone has raved about it. Dessert and cake were great, as well. Liqour selection was really good, real deal top shelf. Everything truly exceeded our expectations. When all the feedback from your guests are nothing but great, you know you picked the right venue and had a great wedding. We dealt with the banquet manager, Travis. From the beginning he was really nice and accommodating. Kirby and Junior were our maitre'ds and they kept everything in line, which lead to a seamless day/night. The entire staff was great. If you are looking for a venue that is not a typical ballroom (though they have ballrooms as an option) you MUST check out The Loft at 350... Patrick and his staff are true miracle workers. My daughter found out less than 2 weeks before her wedding that their venue closed and they needed to pivot and find a venue. We all met with Patrick and he immediately made us feel at ease and worked with us to help make their dreams come true. We were able to have the wedding outside which was perfect. I truly could not say enough nice things about Patrick and his ENTIRE staff. They made their dreams come true.
