I’m not someone who leaves reviews like this — but I had such a disappointing experience that I feel obligated to warn others. I came in with a very specific photo of what I wanted: a soft, glazed chrome tip with a blush pink base. Instead, I sat through 3.5 HOURS of trial and error while the tech (Casey) fumbled through multiple failed attempts at blending, color matching, and ombré chrome — none of which he actually knew how to do. The first set had neon green tips that looked nothing like what I showed. When I gently asked for adjustments, instead of fixing, he fully removed the set and started over — with no real plan or communication. The second attempt turned into a random black-to-purple ombré. I was so mentally exhausted by then that I just let it happen. I left the salon at 8:45 p.m. — and less than 7 days later, the nails were cracking and breaking. I had to go to have them removed. Also, the structure of the nails was bad: bulky near the cuticle, uneven tips, and a patchy top coat. I tried to trust the process. I was polite. I stayed calm. But what I received was nowhere near salon-quality work and $114 dollars worth. When I left a review, they reached out to offer me $46 in store credit (not even a refund), said I could come back but not see Casey, and asked me to update my review if I was “satisfied.” I’m not. I’m tired. And I will absolutely never be returning. If you value your time, your taste, or your sanity …. Reconsider *update*** After my initial review, I was contacted by someone from the salon who apologized and offered me a $46 credit only if I agreed to update my review. I declined because I don’t think my review was unfair—I think it was honest. I spent almost 3 hours in the salon for a basic set that ended up needing to be removed a week later due to breakage and poor quality. When I came in to get the set removed, I was patient and respectful—yet the overall vibe was still cold and awkward. Their follow-up messages felt more like damage control than genuine care. The tone? Polished but hollow. No one actually asked me what went wrong or tried to understand how I felt in the moment. It was all about the credit—and asking me to change my review. I’m not here for hush credits. I’m here to let others know what to expect. I’m not trying to be dramatic—but as someone who values good energy and actual service, this experience fell far short.

Acetone product leaked from the gloves onto my satin skirt. The technician and I noticed it after the pedicure and during the manicure. My skirt was sticking together and now has little holes. Unrepairable holes. She immediately said that’s not our fault and then in her native language called other technicians to look at it. They laughed. I waited until all services were complete. I paid as expected. The technician who was working on me called the owner. I was told the owner was coming to the store. The owner came in saw the damage and said acetone doesn’t do that. It never has. I said the only items on my lap during the services were the acetone, cotton balls, foil and gloves your technician put on me. The conversation went back and forth. She said I don’t know what your clothes looked like before coming here. I said do you have cameras, she said yes. I said then roll the cameras. She said I will call the police. I said ok. We waited for the police to arrive. The Police said they were called because I had not paid. I said of course she said that she needed to get you here. I explained my version. And said I didn’t ask for anything. Only an acknowledgment that it happened vs an insult. They told me to sue her for the damages. Another 18 yr patron saw everything and approached the owner and said this is not right the owner cut her off. I’ve been coming to this salon on and off since 2017. It will be my last. 12/04/2023.

I’ve been a long time customer and I’ve finally decided to take my business somewhere else. I’m tired of spending $100+ dollars on a manicure and pedicure and come out hating the colors and not having my fingers and toes match. Additionally the dip polish does not match the color of the samples given to choose from. Why bother giving me a sample if it’s inaccurate. I even stopped the manicure to check the color was correct before getting too far into it and before they put the same color on my mothers finger. Now we are both stuck with Pepto Bismal pink instead of a soft plum for the next few weeks. I nicely expressed all along my concern regarding the color to my technician and my mothers throughout the process and no solutions were put forth. Additionally since this not the first time Ive been unhappy I finally decided to speak up when paying and no acknowledgment was offered. It’s time to end the relationship and find a place that can match colors.

It pains me so much right now to write this review. I love the experience and service I have been getting with Eddie I think hands down he is THE BEST manicurist/pedicurist I have ever had. I also greatly enjoy getting services with Iris as well, not only do they provide friendly service but they do wonderful work and the best massages! My awful experience with the rest of the staff today had to be shared. My mom and I are Regular costumers and are in just about every 2 weeks since we have moved here in December. Today we walked in and were not even acknowledged at all by the girl at the front desk and she just let us stand there awkwardly as I was trying to make eye contact to let he know we were there for our appointment. I have never been to an establishment where the front desk person has such a bad attitude. In past experiences I have overlooked it but today was the last straw. Anyway, moving forward mom and I were enjoying our experience and we were having normal nail salon chit chat with my 8 year old daughter just like everyone else. I think we started to laugh about something while sitting in one of the manicure chairs and one of the workers reprimanded us like children saying that we were being too loud. Meanwhile we were just merely talking and mind you we were talking and laughing at a reasonable volume for being in a nail place. Personally after spending over 200 today I think it was totally uncalled for. We come in quite frequently and spend a lot of money here and to be embarrassed like that was atrocious. My mom actually let it marinate for a little while as we were finishing our drying but ultimately felt something needed to be said. She walked to the front desk and let her know that she thought this was very rude behavior. The woman behind the desk took a condescending and reprimanding approach saying that other people were turning their heads and looking… meanwhile they probably wanted to see what had made us laugh. I also have a very mature and 8 year old that has a huge vocabulary and more often than not people are always turning around just to admire her. My mom and I feel that if we were in the actual massage part of the place then it would be correct that we would need to be in a whisper volume. We have been to nail salons and spas all over the world and have never had an experience like this, I didn’t know that we weren’t allowed to have a chuckle at the nail salon. If their goal is to loose us as clients this is a good way to do it. They already almost lost my mom because her first time there she had another tech and ended up catching a horrible nail fungus in 6 of her nails. Because I had such a different experience with Eddie who I thought was amazing I was able to salvage her as a customer for this establishment and Iris has been taking good care of her ever since too. We were not even going to mention that but today’s experience left a very sour taste. I have never heard of not being able to have a laugh in public and be sociable, I thought we were in a nail place not a...

I used to love this place and the relaxing atmosphere. The pedicure chairs have changed and the quiet spa atmosphere. I saw Casey who did a great job my first appointment after moving back to the area- for gel. He did a nice job but the gel polish literally completely peeled off of my nails within a few days. $140 to last a few days.. I tried them again a few months later hoping it was a fluke also got Casey for a gel mani and pedi again and the polish turned yellow from pink on my nails and toes within two days so I went in immediately to show them and ask if they would switch the polish because for $140 with short nails this really wasn’t acceptable. They agreed, apologized and made me an appointment- I was very thankful I used the same color and asked Casey if that was a bad idea bc I didn’t want to repeat the problem… the tech said not to worry this bottle was new not old like the polish from the other day… after the appointment they tried to charge me bc a different person was at the register who wasn’t there to see what happened when I scheduled the appointment. I explained no this is a redo not a polish change and she started yelling and making a scene about not paying.. nobody has time to do their nails twice in two days or should have to pay twice because the product is obviously being replaced with cheap quality … or feel bad bc they paid for a service that was sub par- additionally- even after the fix it started once again peeling again after two days. I did not go to the beach or work with my hands. The lack of decorum by the manager is shameful, I would have been a loyal customer bc they seemed like they were doing the right thing fixing it and Casey is gentle and does a great job but the product and professionalism have gone down hill. They also changed the points system and it was like pulling teeth to recoup the massages I had banked. Clearly they gear towards tourists who won’t have time to go back. Very upsetting. I do my nails regularly and have not had this issue with gel peeling this quickly...
