This store is incredible and unique! It's difficult to describe; there's just so much here. Think "Bed, Bath & Beyond" meets "Walmart." It's organized, clean, inexpensive, and fun to shop. I first stumbled upon Joey'z when I couldn't find a shower mat (not $6 pack[s] of 3-pack butterfly appliqués, but thanks, "Big Y"). I found one among approximately seven different styles. Some were wooden, others looked like grass and massaged your feet, still more just kept you from slipping in the tub. Options?! Thank you! This area sells- you guessed it- bathroom accessories for all tastes. I love the cleaning section. Lavender "Pledge" is amazing and may motivate you to dust more often. It smells amazing. Everything you need for your kitchen - here. Stools, garbage bins, sponges, trivets, plastic and wooden clean caddies (if you don't have a dishwasher), and the bottom piece to keep your dishes clean and dry. If you're a clean freak, you've just found your new haven. Now your stuff is glistening; time to decorate. Mirrors, plain and embellished, art, hangers to hang art, etc. There are also comforters, cool throw pillows, ironing boards, ironing board covers. Wow. Onto something easier to quantify. The owner is super helpful and kind. A few years ago, there was a massive heat wave. I had two fans, but both were broken. I went to Joey'z to look at fans. There was a great floormodel that was out of stock. It was also out of my price range. After some talk, the owner was kind and caring enough to sell it to me, as is. He also checked it out first, then loaded it into my car. The fan is bionic, still works, and reminds me that there are still good people in the world. (Thank you!) Joey'z also sells clothing. And very sassy shoes. Cute pj's. I scored my favorite, darkest pair of sunglasses here for $1! Check out the sunglasses, especially if you're photosensitive. A special note to those in the medical profession: Cute...
Read moreI've been a regular customer and have purchased lots of items there prices are reasonable but the return policy is horrible. I bought some curtains they didn't turn out to be what I expected I went back with my receipt wanting to get a different pair. So the man at the register ask me for the packaging I said I tossed them they were all torn when I took them out why? I can't take them back unless they are in the original package it's on the receipt. I apologize told him I didn't see that but that as he can see they are intact just without the package he refused, so I asked for the manager and he did not budge he said he is going to tell you the same thing I just told you. Bottom line I ended back with the curtains he didn't bother getting the manager, very disappointed lesson learned I guess it's time to look for a...
