Pieroway's Furniture — Attraction in West Springfield

My husband and I ordered a sectional from this business. We were happy with our purchase until the fabric started pulling not even 6 months of owning it. I contacted the store, they sent a representative out to look at it who stated he could not fix the problem. Pieroways then wanted to send a cushion out foe testing to see what the issue was. They claimed it was from wear and tear and because we have dogs (that only go on the couch on occasion and when they do there is a blanket under them). The owner then stated we could replace the sectional for a cost. When we went to the store to pick a new fabric, the owner was rude and unprofessional. Berating me and talking down to me and my husband like we were idiots. I explained when we purchased the sectional we were told the fabric we chose would last a lifetime. Obviously that was not the case. We reordered a new sectional with new fabric. When it came in, it was not correct. I called the store and explained the situation and they argues, said it was ordered correct. The person I spoke with said he would call me later in the day after he looked into the issue. When he called me back, he asked me to send him photos. After I did, his response was I guess you aren't crazy. Not only am I not crazy, but Peiroways is incredibly unprofessional and rude and I will NEVER do business with them again. my husband and i bought a kitchen table and 4 chairs from pieroway's in august of 2010...after a year, all of the finish started to come off of the table and the 4 chairs...paper plates would literally stick to it and other stuff would rub off such as newspaper...if something got wet, god forbid...i called after a year to complain and all i got was, "sorry there is nothing i can do." so now after 3 years i called again...they took me a little more seriously and told me they would call me back...well they never called so i called back...we paid a decent price for everything...the owner told me that the manufacturer would not do anything but he claimed that he was trying to be nice and would give us $100.00 off of a new table and 4 chairs...that is a slap in the face...VERY POOR QUALITY AND VERY POOR...

I bought a high end Temperpedic bed base with all the bells and whistles. There was no pressure and the salesman was very helpful. The price was very reasonable for what I got and it is always nice to buy local. Although there was a hiccup with when it would be delivered, Mike Ouimette called me himself and went over and above to make it right. My bed was just delivered by Freddy and James - wonderful guys who had the challenge of getting it upstairs in an old house. They did an amazing job and got it up there when others might have given up. Also they were not only nice to my dogs, they were conscious of making sure the doors were closed each time they went in and out - that is critical cuz one of my dog's is an escape artist.
