This mall is dead. Barely any stores. Food places are closed in the food court and in the walking direction of the food court (same floor) and those that are open do not have visible serve safe certificates and those that did have some sort of certificate for safe food service did not have visible dates. I literally brought food from a space in the food court that had poor customer service (no smiles, no greetings, barely any English spoken and was not willfully allowing questions about the samples) and upon the aforementioned discovery after they cooked my food, I threw it in the trash and rather leave hungry until I found a more pleasing place which was not in the mall at all. There were barely any shoppers on a Saturday. The most interesting items were Macy's home and kitchen items and of course Boscovs. Period. This was a waste of my time and energy for any "mall" experience. It's basically a space for Round 1, Macy's, Boscovs, the Library and the surrounding restaurants. The restaurants in the mall weren't open during my visit to review or comment but the overall SHOPPING experience...
Read moreThis mall has really changed since I was a kid. It used to be your stereotypical mall with a bunch of chain and corner stores but awhile back it died out a bit. There was span of years then when it seemed like half of the mall became a medical center but today I went back for the first time in years and was pleasantly surprised. Many smaller chain and local shops have moved in. Also a good number of community features have become a part of the mall as well, from a chess academy to a robotics school for youth. There is also now a bowling alley and a Very impressive arcade that has a wide range of games and some that are the literal latest and greatest. A very good place for a young teens birthday party or event. The only downside being that there are many non rented out spaces in the mall so some parts feel a bit like a ghost town. Worth a trip just to walk about and see...
Read moreMediocrity best describes this declining mall. It's good points are: ample parking, never crowded, and clean (food court reopened after health code violations). Cornerstone mega-doctor supermarket. Fun center with all-age entertainment and games. Macy's. All the mobile phone stores. Other brands come and go. Maybe, it'll see a revival with the Whole Foods and Apt/Condo in the neighborhood. One...
