Westerly Library — Attraction in Westerly

We had our event in the Terrace Room at the Westerly Library and it was the perfect day! It fit us perfectly, allowing plenty of room for kids and adults to mingle and sit and have a great brunch. The tables and chairs are included in the rental fee. There is also a kitchen space to help set up. There is a cleaning fee if you serve food. The Library Events Coordinator was great at communication leading up to and on the day of our event.

The day of the event, the tables and chairs were all set up for us all we had to do was place table clothes and flowers and the food. (that I provided- they do not provide linens).

For your guests - the entrance and access to the terrace room is handicapped accessible. There is street parking or a varied of parking lots in downtown Westerly. There is also a parking garage across the street that is free.

I have had two separate events at the Library - my first being my Bridal Shower in 2017 and then my one year olds' first birthday party in 2025 and both times I found the room and set up bright, fun, well cleaned and maintained.

I am already looking forward to the next function...

Westerly Library is a beautiful building with stunning 19th century architecture, and an amazing gallery space, the Hoxie Gallery. Local artists are featured in this bright, open space each month. Be prepared for two-hour metered parking on the street. There is a free parking lot within walking distance, and a parking garage for a fee. The library is adjacent to a beautiful park and across the street from the Pizza Place that makes the best tuna grinder I’ve ever had – SO good!
