Food was very good! Only have one major complaint, the waiter we had was not very kind. I asked him if I could substitute my salad in the Dinner Combo because of allergies and he straight up told me no. I asked him if I could just have no salad and he told me no again. He ended up bringing me a salad I couldn't even eat, and it made me sad to waste food because I can't eat it. I also told him that I'm very (not deadly, but still pretty bad) allergic to onions and I can't have them on my plate. He brought my food back and my entrée was served on a BED of onions. I understand that mistakes happen, so I asked him if he could ask the chefs to remake it, and he said "No, no onions." Which he repeated a few times and I basically deciphered as "You have to have these onions, deal with it." The food was enjoyable and I ate around the bed of onions as best I could, and luckily didn't get sick. I'm just very disappointed in the service. Imagine if I had been deadly allergic. I'm just hoping for...

I had a friend over and we thought we'd call for Chinese food. Well, because I walk with a cane it's hard for me to go to restaurants.

,So we called so they deliver, but you have to spend at least $25-$30 before they well.

My whole experience was awful, I don't think I have the time to write everything that was wrong with what I got.

So here's the short version the Miso Soup they use soybean paste, (that's all I got, plus small small little cubes of tofu and two pieces of seaweed).

I think the one that was the worst was K5, Salmon Teriyaki; Salmon (grilled to perfection), however it was put on a bed of onions a (lot of onions) garnished w/ 2pieces steamed broccoli, 2 pieces of steamed carrots that weren't steamed all the way and 2 small baby corn. Well, $16 wasted.

There were i'm a things but I don't want to have to...

Definitely a hidden gem for connoiseurs and enthusiasts.

The textures and flavors are all individually experienced in one bite with no texture or flavor getting in the way of the other. Non-house soy sauce. Wonderfully balanced wasabi. Minimal additions so you def get more fish than all that other stuff other places crowd onto the roll. The additions enhance the fish but don’t overpower it.

The temperature of the sushi held steady even though it took me about 20 min to finish my meal. The fresness of each indiviual piece was there the whole time.

I swear they pulled a fresh live tuna and yellowtail from a fish tank in the back and sliced it on the spot.

You won’t be disappointed if you decide...

🌟 Hidden Gem in Westerly! 🌟 Stopped in for a quick afternoon snack and was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The sushi here is top-tier—crispy shrimp tempura rolls, creamy spicy tuna, and perfectly seasoned rice in every bite. Bonus: it’s incredibly affordable, especially the lunch specials (seriously, what a steal!). DO NOT skip the fried gyoza—crispy outside, juicy inside, and served with a chef’s special dipping sauce that I’m still thinking about. Clean space, fast service, beautiful plating—Koi is officially my new go-to. I’ll be back for lunch soon (and probably dinner too)! 🤩

Sat at the bar, lot's of tropical drink choices, Gnarly Head house wines at $6 / glass and a healthy pour. Sushi was fresh and at a great price. Photo is the sushi & sashimi for one. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Fun atmosphere. Our new local sushi place!
