piss poor serves and a disorganized mess that was never that way when i worked there and a group of people that do not car about the well being of the store Mimi the store manger has had people work off the clock and has had at least 10 people quit with her as an excuse Jamie had that store spic and span everyday boosted but with haff the staff the they have now and with better management

Dear Linwood and Troy, I regret to tell you that I have resigned. I decided to resign because things have not improved with Mimi since our meeting. Most recently, I was sent home early for no obvious reason and the manner in which she excused me from work was extremely rude. I was producing wares and I noticed things on my cart that I did not put there. I asked Mimi if she put things on my cart without telling me. She said yes. When I tried to kindly explain why I asked her, she asked me to leave! I asked her why she was sending me home, and she would not explain why. The third time I asked why, she ripped the cart away from me and told me to leave and clock out in a very angry manner. This feels like an abuse of power. All I did was ask her very kindly please do not put things on my cart without my permission! Mimi’s behavior towards me was often rude and disparaging. I've had several incidences where she would tell me “I don't have time for your problems” and walk away. I never had a problem with Jamie but as soon as Mimi started working at the store, I have felt singled out. I understand that I needed to make improvements, and that Mimi and I needed to take time to get to know each other. I have done everything I can to resolve these issues. I’ve talked to Mimi, Troy, and had a meeting with Mimi and a woman from disability services. I’ve done my best to be open minded and willing to hear what Mimi has to say, and I always showed up to work ready to do what was asked to the best of my abilities. For a couple of weeks after our meeting, things seemed so much better with Mimi! She even took me to lunch! It seemed as if we were communicating and working towards making things better. Then for no reason at all, things got worse than before the meeting. I also feel as if Mimi is showing favoritism to certain employees such as Court a coworker of mine. She allows him more say in things than she allows me and acts more interested in communicating with Court and hearing what he has to say. She does not seem inconvenienced to speak with him as she behaves towards me. Witnessing this made me feel undervalued as an associate. I also have heard that Miss Sheila got punished for using her PTO time. Sheila said that Mimi approved the PTO. said to Sheila that it made the hours go over than what they should of been why is that Sheila's fault then she cut her hours so she could work for us again abuse of power Before working with Mimi, I was happy to work at Goodwill. It was my dream job! I really wanted to stay and maybe even work towards being a Team Lead one day. Unfortunately, Mimi seems completely uninterested in communicating with me or in my progress as an associate. After doing everything I could to make the situation change and things never improving, I felt as if I had no other option but to leave the company.

I traveled 40 minutes to a Goodwill store from my home and stumbled upon a chair that matched one I already have in my office. The best part was that it was only $5. Although unsure if it would fit in my car, I bought the chair and told the employee I would return to pick it up on Friday or Saturday morning. She assured me everything was good with either days. After finishing my third shift job, I stayed awake so I could drive back to the store near the airport to get the chair.

Upon arriving at the designated pick-up area, I handed my receipt to a helpful and apologetic young man. He informed me that the chair I had purchased was no longer available. Disappointed and somewhat shocked, I decided to check inside the store. The young man showed me a different chair as a replacement, but it was not what I wanted. Despite this, I appreciated his effort. Surprisingly, the manager was less apologetic and helpful than the young man, only offering a brief apology and suggesting I look for another chair at a different store, mentioning that furniture is marked down frequently.

I comprehend that this chair was purchased at GOODWILL for only $5.00! Nevertheless, it is the way the situation was handled that is bothering me. All I received was a $5.00 gift card. I am at a loss for words to describe my emotions. I am not sure if I am angry, as I was thrilled to find that chair after searching for the perfect one at a great price! I am Just very disappointed . I hope no one ever finds something they really want or need but don’t have room for it because I would not trust that it will be there no matter what they they say ! I won’t be going back EVER not to...

Now they have instore some Highend goods but are marking them too high. If you think the prices are too high STOP BUYING. They have to mark it down if it wont sell. Never buy online from good will. THE TRUTH BEHIND GOOD WILL. It is a scam. online sales are more important. Most all the FREE high end items they get go online to sell at inflated prices. You never get access unless you want to pay through the nose. I have stopped shopping Good will. The good will goes to the creator who has 7 mansions. The franchisers are trying to make a million bucks. When you bid online they have employees bid against you so you have to pay max to get an item. This Good will never allows items that can sell for high prices ever get on the shelves. They want that money. NEVER GIVE THEM EXTRA CHANGE. They barely pay their employees and the so called help they give they get government grants to pay for it. Most of that money that comes in goes to the owners. Its profit. You almost never see real brands and if you do its marked way up there in price. Dont buy it if its too high to you. That speaks more than reviews. Its wrong for them to keep the public from these items when they got them ALL for free. NEVER DONATE...
