I don’t write reviews, But I’m surprised by the good rating on here my experience was so bad and I was anxious throughout. I always go to 6 salon in Birmingham as it’s a high end salon, I was in a rush so I decided to try this salon out since it was close by. They burnt my hair. First they don’t listen to you or what u want they just rush, assigned a lady to Me who doesn’t speak English, she brushed my hair so harshly applied color while I’m laying in the sink, they dry your hair with the perm drying machine, speaking to each other is such a loud manner. Then once it was time to shampoo she kept burning my Scalp with HOT water to Wash off the color, After I was asked if I wanted blow Dry and the lady BURNT my hair she went over my thin fragile hair 4 times Touching my Hair with the nozzle of the blow dryer until I asked her to stop bcuZ i had enough , literally smoke coming out of my hair smelled chemically burnt. When I touched the top some of my hair i Noticed it had gotten stuck Together bcuZ of The intense heat damage after color She burnt My scalp 3 times that’s how close she was holding the dryer. The blow dry brush kept pulling some of my hair out my scalp so painful since it was getting stuck to the corner of Her brush. Didn’t bother cleaning the brush as it was full Of hair From previous clients. Then when I saw the price it was over for me me in 6 salon(high end salon) I pay 65$ for color and dry, they charged me 55$ for just blow dry. paying so much and being so Anxious and having unprofessional employees work on Your hair and they don’t know What they are doing! Although the day of service I liked my hair ,.I have to give this review , I have been natural for 14years and had just stated to really tame.my hair , and it was growing great, I was recommended by a friend, the lady that did my hair was nice, I stressed and asked if the flat iron will damage my hair as I don't want that to happen , I was told by the stylist.my hair has low porosity , that was bs my hair had great shrinkage , held product well no breakage when I combed it , since visiting I feel like my hair has been permed with out permission ,my scalp was very itchy after , now this was my first visit be unaware of the damage , I went again but with my products I've been using for 3 years now it's seemed like there was an issue requesting this to an extinct ,not with Chris but the washer. After that wash I noticed by entire hair texture had changes , very passed as I'm noticing, since visiting my hair has had contained breakage every time I touch it,.it.feel stringy , I've tried washing it multiple times to regain my original texture ,I honestly feel like there is a perming chemical in the shampoo or something. I went here on a Saturday for a wash, roller set, style, and haircut. They scrubbed my scalp so well. Seriously one of the best washes I’ve had from a salon. I was happy to find somewhere that does roller sets, because a lot of salons don’t, or they charge a lot for it. For my naturals, roller sets are the best way to dry your hair with no heat damage. Cris is very kind and addressed my concerns. We didn’t speak much because it was very busy and loud in there, but I didn’t mind. I washed my hair after a week and all my curls reverted back to normal, which was my main concern because I’ve been natural for 7 years. I’m happy with everything and she’s gained a long time customer. Her prices are VERY reasonable. You won’t find better. The only con: The girl who washed my hair was ripping through it with the comb to detangle. I do wish she was more gentle. I was also in there for 4 hours, but wouldn’t consider that a con because when you book through the website, it warns you that weekends have extended wait periods. Even with an appointment, you will be there for a long time because they take walk-ins. Next time I will book during the week to see if it doesn’t...
