There's a splash pad in one area, you do pay for but I think it's worth buying the season pass, also a free regular side, it does get very sunny so bring sun block as the play structure is not shaded. There's one chair swing in the swing area for any children who need more ❤ care, expect Porta potties unless you go up where the snack bar is there is bathrooms next to snack bar, there's a beautiful track, a foutian eating area near the snack bar..they hold the Farmer's Market one day a week in the center of park in it's own area. People have birthday's at the park every Saturday expect it to be busy it slows down in the better part of evening. Bicycles, roller skating, hover boards, scooters are welcome as there's side walks and track around the back of back splash. There's a skate board park also the kids bring their trick bikes, it is set back deep off the parking lot closer to the police station. There's only a couple things you might want to know yes handicap accessible for the park and splash pad..but parking lot needs to be redone and could be bumpy if not near entrance, the portajohns is the closest bathroom and it is a bit of walk for a stretched out beautiful park, I wish people would be more clean and respectful of the wildlife..the staff does there very best to clean up it does get messy at times with the amount of traffic. The gazebos have smaller parties and bigger parties are by the snack bar and fountain. There's no grills avaible but I've seen people bring there own. This is a place for just about...
Read moreThis was my first time coming because I was going to meet my favorite breads vendor. Few other vendors due to rain.
I noticed an extremely dangerous situation with the curb going to the covered vendor area. As an older woman who uses a power wheelchair I went up the curb in the direction of my vendor. This curb is very dangerous going down. I'm in pretty good shape in the upper body. So when I left I was able to catch myself, otherwise I might have been tossed out of my chair onto the pavement. This entrance is directly in front of the vendors in that covered pavilion and is in no way marked that it is not a safe curb for wheelchair user to use. It's so dangerous that has the potential to fatally injure another...
Read moreMy son had fun until all the Pavillions got rented out and we had to leave. They really need Pavillions marked for rentals and maybe 2 for community. Some adults were rude due to the rentals. The park is much bigger and seems kids could get hurt more often due to the structure. Seems like there would be more staff to help lessen confusion, but no. Too big and kind of dangerous. Not to mention all of the rentals making it almost unavailable. My son is a single child and this is not a park that supports the community to come together in my opinion. Been going there since a child myself and won't...
