Geemu Geemu — Attraction in Westminster

We found out about Geemu Geemu through a Reddit thread while hunting for the elusive Labubu—basically the Tickle Me Elmo or Furby of today’s toy scene. We called ahead to ask if they had any in stock, and to our surprise, they said yes! We expected to pull up to a toy store, but instead found ourselves at a claw machine arcade—which turned out to be an absolute dream come true for our daughter, who’s obsessed with claw machines.

When we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and explained how it all works: you buy tokens, each token gets you one turn at any claw machine. Every machine has a different plushie inside, and when you win, the staff gives you a backpack to store your haul. At the end, you can either keep your prizes or trade them in for larger plushies. Each prize is worth 1 point, and bigger plushies range from 15 to 30 points. Our target—the Labubu—was 17 points, and we actually won enough to make the trade!

What really made the experience so great was the staff. They were beyond helpful, super friendly, and even offered to “fluff” the plushies inside the machines to give everyone a fair shot at winning. That kind of customer service makes all the difference.

I wouldn’t recommend this claw arcade. The machines just aren’t worth it—the grips are extremely loose, making it difficult to win, and the plush prizes are very low quality, often with small rips in the stitching or obvious knockoffs. While the trade system helps, it feels absolutely necessary because most of the prizes aren’t worth keeping.

The space is also far too cramped. If more than two people are playing, it’s almost impossible to move around without bumping into someone. To make matters worse, the atmosphere felt extremely unprofessional. Employees took up the entire back seating area, spreading plushies across the floor while yelling back and forth, which completely ruined the experience.
