Went to drop my mother off and make sure she was getting on the right train. She is a senior, so I was helping her with her luggage. I brought it to the platform for her, and when her train arrived, saw no employees or anyone else around to help her with her bags, so I carried them onboard myself. My wife stayed outside by the door to make sure the train didn't leave me, but the agents at the far end of the train who were waving the all clear to each other didn't notice her? She tried holding the door open for me as I was trying to get off the train, and luckily, I made it off.
On our way back to the car, I was scolded by another employee who magically appeared. She said next time I should ask someone for help and never board the train myself if I wasn't a passenger. Who was I supposed to ask for help? My mom would have missed her train if I didn't help her. My wife was completely ignored by the people who were working the train as they only came out on the far side of the train. I needed to make sure my mom got on there safely. Maybe they should have people actually come out onto the platform to check if anyone needs help and play a message to warn people not to help their loved ones get onto the train. It would also be helpful to hire a few more people to work the platform or send one of the 3 people sitting around in ticketing to help with...
