I've never posted a Google Review but my experience with this business was so bad that I have to warn others to stay away.
Avoid this business at all costs. Nine days ago I cracked my screen so bad that the motherboard on the inside of the phone was damaged. I replaced the screen myself, but it was clear there was a small dent in the motherboard which was causing my phone to not turn on.
I brought it by Weymouth Phone Repair and the guy working told me that it would probably take a few days before they could give me a quote, since they have to diagnose the specific issue with the motherboard, but he assured me that the repair would take about a week tops. I left them my email address and was on my way.
A week later, they're completely radio silent. I was told I would get a quote in a few days and the repair would take a week, but here we are a week later and I don't even have a quote. I go to the store, ask them what's going on with my phone, the guy says he has no idea because they outsource motherboard repairs to some other guy (?) so my phone probably isn't here, but he handed me a card and told me to call him the next day for an update.
I had to work the next day, so I call the day after. At this point it's been 9 days since they took my phone. I call, the guy has the same answer, but tells me he will call me back when he gets an update. At this point I'm done, I go to the store to go take my phone back and I peek behind the counter and see my phone exactly where the guy left it nine days earlier. When I told them I can't do this anymore because nobody has communicated to me once, the guy had no apologies, explanation, nothing. Just handed it over. Nine days with no phone for literally nothing.
I've never experienced such abhorrent customer service in my life. Weymouth Phone Repair wasted nine days of my time, holding onto my phone when someone with a legitimate business could have fixed it. Hey Weymouth Phone Repair - don't advertise "MOTHERBOARD REPAIR" if it's clearly above your expertise.

When I went to pick up my phone I was told they would order the right one and to come back next week. I came back every week for 4 weeks. I still have a mismatched phone. When I confronted the owner he stated it was my fault for not telling him when I picked it up I wasn't happy and to put the old screen on. I was also told by another employee if they couldn't get the right screen I would be given a partial refund. When I spoke to the owner he stated that it was his part time employee that told me that and that it was HIS shop and I would not be getting any refund. I still have a mismatched phone.    Read moreBait and switch! Went to them with a iPad. Was givien a free diagnostic and quoted at $135 to repair plus $20 for a screen protector . After getting it back and it not powering up. I returned it to them. Went to pick it up today and they charged me an extra $40 for batteries. Their free diagnostic is a joke. They supposedly do this every day for a living and don’t think to test the batteries before they put a new screen on and then tell me that they had no idea the batteries are bad? What a joke. It’s an iPad seventh generation. You can buy a brand new 7th for $250. They knew this which is why they streched out the work the way they did.
