I have been going here for about a year on and off, but I will not be continuing my patronage. This place is okay for basic mani/pedi with traditional or gel polish, but anything else will leave you disappointed. My main gripes are: 1) cuticle care. Every time I go I ask them for a traditional manicure with cuticle care. Then specify I want my cuticles pushed backed and trimmed. It never happens. Richard, the owner, once told me while doing my nails, that they usually donât do cuticle care with dip (even though I specially asked for it). I looked over and saw the neighboring nail tech doing exactly that. Then Richard back tracked saying it was because my cuticle were already too short. I assure you they never are. 2) consistently mediocre results regardless of the technician. They shape is wrong, or theyâre lumpy, or too long/short. I usually bring on a pic of what I want to eliminate misunderstandings, but they happen each time I go. 3) more than once Richard has stopped my technician (different ones) to accommodate a service for someone else. Usually some sort of wax hair removal. Itâs rude and disrespectful. Iâm paying full price every time, so why am I expected to accommodate another customer? This is not my problem. 4) often my dip/acrylic nails have started lifted without a few days. Usually one will pop off before two weeks. 5) I will make an appointment online for certain techs but then will be seen by someone else when I arrive, and 6) when I leave: my final thought isnât âwow, my nails look amazingâ, itâs âeh, they look just okay, but at least this place is super close and I didnât have to do my nails myselfâ. Last week I was there and received possibly the lumpiest nail job to date by the owner himself (Richard) and I realized that is heâs okay with joking a subpar job there is no way I can expect anything better from the salon itself. I will no longer be paying...
Read moreIt's true that you get what you pay for! $27 for a shellac manicure and $22 for a basic pedicure is easy on the wallet. But ugly on the finger and toenails! I made an appointment with Dan on a Sunday afternoon at 2:30. I showed up and sat around until 3 pm! I got a basic pedicure and asked for square shaped toenails and they came out lopsided! A woman sitting next to me complained that she felt ignored and I agree. After the rough pedi I moved to the manicure table. I asked a lady that worked there if she would turn the tv on. She picked up the remote, pointed it up, put the remote down and walked away. The tv never turned on! Meanwhile, a different woman asked her manicurist if she could grab a matching color off the wall and it was obvious that the lady did not want to be at work. This poor woman was treated very poorly. Anyway, back to my mani. I picked a sparkly purple which looked great on the fake fingernail. As he was applying the polish I noticed the paint was not coming out smooth. He said "It's the glitter that makes it look bumpy" This is ridiculous and untrue. The paint was old. It's not the first time I have ever had a glitter shellac lol!
I want to meet the people who gave this place 5 stars.
AWFUL!

Read moreThe reviews for this place seemed decent, and I was just looking to get some Gel X nails removed and a regular gel manicure. I have gotten Gel X/Acrylic nails for several years and I have NEVER experienced something like this. She did not soak my nails or remove the top layer, instead she took a handful of acrylic nails and used those to just lift and rip off the fake nails I had on. She kept stabbing me with her own nails while doing this. It was uncomfortable and painful. She then used her OWN NAILS when the acrylic nails weren't working. I was in shock and just froze, but I wish I'd just gotten up and walked out. Because she did this method she also ripped off part of my actual nails, leaving them way too short. You know when your nails are too short so it's painful when you clip them and they're really sensitive? That's what happened. When I told her it was hurting she said she's done this for a long time and knows what she's doing.
My fingers were red and irritated the rest of the day. Save your time and money and find...
