This dog park is great and my dog is obsessed! It has a large area with grass and sand, as well as a smaller wooded area for the dogs to play and explore! There is also a fenced area for smaller and shyer dogs, along with benches for people to sit and watch.
There is always a big bowl of water to drink from and a hose right next to it, just in case it runs low. There are also a couple of kiddy pools that were brought in for the dogs play in, along with plenty of toys in case you forget yours.
The main reason I love this park is because this place is just a small community filled with friendly people who just love dogs! Most of these of these people come regularly, if not everyday. So much so that they pretty much know every dogs name and if not, will definitely learn it.
Me and my dog have always felt welcome here and will continue...
Read moreMy dogs love this park and we haven’t had a problem with other dogs until today. My bullies are the most friendliest and playful doggos and never bark or turn aggressive with other dogs so I was never worry about them. This is what a German Shepard did to my poor baby. Thankfully it’s owner stopped his dog but he didn’t even apologize. We left asap after this dog got aggressive. I didn’t realize that the damages until we got home. These scars will probably stay visible forever. I’m truly heartbroken I will no longer be taking them to any dog park. But my baby was a trooper and stayed happy even after the attack. He didn’t want to leave. If you know your dog isn’t friendly towards other dogs, please watch them closely. Friendly pet owners shouldn’t have to worry about their pups’ safety. But then again, I shouldn’t have let...

We lucked out as I realize the groups of owners and their dogs change with the time of day and season and both groups we met were polite and friendly (yes, I'm referring to both dogs AND owners!). Both times we went during our weekend stay at Whidbey with our boxer pup were enjoyable. I gave it 5 stars for ease of parking, a portapotty on site, 2 covered areas with permanent seating, sand/versus MUD base, a wooded area for the dogs to run amok, a variety of scattered toys and balls lying about for impromptu fetch and on site fresh water. Really this place is great and I'm coming from Bellingham, a serious dog hotspot on it's own. The rolling hills (great for doggy dashes) were also...
