Be cautious when shopping at this Goodwill location. I recently purchased a "coffee table" listed for $25, brand new in the box. Upon opening it to ensure all the pieces were present, I discovered the top was missing. When I asked if the price could be adjusted due to the missing part, an employee informed me that the price typically reflects what's inside the box. I pointed out that the box gave no indication that it was missing the top, and it was still being sold as a complete coffee table.
I brought the issue to the front, hoping they'd reconsider the pricing or remove the item from the floor, as it clearly wasn't a coffee table without the top. Instead, the same employee followed me, took the item, and placed it right back on the floor, as if the missing piece didn't matter.
Frankly, I'm disappointed. When is it acceptable to knowingly sell broken or incomplete products, especially after it's been brought to their attention? I've had previous experiences where I've tested items before buying, only to find out later they didn't work or had missing parts. In those cases, I reported the issue, and the staff appreciated the feedback. However, this location seems to have no concern for whether an item is functional or complete, and they're willing to deceive customers by keeping defective items for sale.
In summary, Goodwill appears more focused on making money than ensuring the quality of their items. I strongly advise double-checking everything before you buy, as you can't trust their practices here. Personally, I wonât be shopping at this location again and am seriously reconsidering shopping at any Goodwill...

My elderly mother and I have been visiting Goodwill weekly for the past several decades. Itâs our favorite thing to do together. We visited two locations today (Roseville and White Bear Lake, MN) and both stores REEKED of perfume fragrance .. both the exact same scent. Both of us (and many, many folks) have fragrances allergies. We had to leave the locations with migraines and my mom felt ill for the rest of the day to the point where I considered bringing her to urgent care because she was so dizzy. We asked an employee if they spray scents around the store and they said they do. I understand that thrift stores have a smell to them, but spraying stuff to cover up the smell is doing more damage than good. If this continues, we wonât be able to shop at our favorite store anymore. Please consider following airplane and office practices - NO...

The lady at the register looked at me and said âwhy would they donate it with that in itâ and I responded with âitâs clearly an older person who probably didnât know or her family got rid of itâ. The staff member just looked at me with this rude look. Another staff member walks up and grabs the book... Rips the pages out and says âproblem solvedâ and walks away. ...
