Subway — Restaurant in Vadnais Heights

Normally go to 4th street subway with no complaints. But on the subway app this store supposedly honored 6.99 foot longs with code 699FL. Problem is total never updated and over charged me. 11:25am pick up time, so I came in 10-15 minutes early to see if they could advise me on how to fix. Then everything took a turn for the worse. Not only did staff show no interest in helping me and looking at my email to show them my concern. Staff person kept cutting me off and didn’t give me the time of day. Saying I would have to talk to manager that was not there. Asking her “would you just look at email”. I guess this was her last straw and told me she would not proceed with my order. Wow, ended up going to 4th street and having excellent service. Now I get the hassle of following up with credit card company and management to see how they correct poor customer service. Update: Management called back, listened and explained. Simple explanation that applied to only one sandwich per order. All could have been avoided with patience to customer. One...

First let me say, I have been coming in for years to this Subway and have never experienced a rude employee ever…. today that changed. Just had the rudest interaction with employee. Was around 430 and service was unremarkable except for when checking out. I was trying to use a e-gift card and scanned the QR code several times and it wasn’t working. The staff person asked me to use another method of payment so I got out a credit card and tapped the card on the payment consul and then received a message saying I needed to “present the card” when I asked the staff what it meant her response was both unhelpful and condensing. Instead of helping the situation she made it worse with her condescending tone and flip attitude. When I tapped again it processed but she had already walked away without offering a receipt or even handing the sandwiches to me. So rude in attitude and tone—-this person does not belong working in customer facing role....

I’d give it zero stars if I could. Stopped by this evening about 9:35pm for a couple sandwiches. Google says they are open until 10, the open sign was on, doors were locked. So I got back in my vehicle to leave, just then I see a lady come out of the back room for a moment or two, I got back out and of course she was in the back room again. I tried knocking on the windows TJ get her attention, and while doing that I saw her walk by the opening to the back room but no response. I understand sometimes places are short staffed and things happen. However I know she heard the knocking, she could have said they closed early if that’s the case, if at least turn off the open sign. Very poor service...
