Laurie has colored my hair for years but I went in this week and I wanted something different; I was determined. Well, so was she. She was determined I wasn’t going to strip my hair down to the roots and destroy it. Back and forth until she got me to where I needed to be and then she created the most GORGEOUS platinum color imaginable without any striping or burn.

The other thing that I appreciate so much about the salon is the way they treat their clients. They always make time for me and they never ever act as if they’re too busy. I know for a fact Laurie was booked yesterday and she worked me in. I don’t expect to be treated like a Prima Dona; they truly appreciate their clients and we appreciate them. I had such a wonderful experience with my hairdresser, Rin! She’s not only incredibly talented but also super attentive and kind. She really listened to what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. My hair looks and feels amazing—Rin truly knows her craft and makes you feel completely at ease throughout the process.

Also, I have to give a huge shoutout to her boss, Shawn. She’s absolutely fantastic—professional, warm, and clearly a strong, supportive leader. You can tell she’s created a positive, empowering environment where her team can thrive, and that energy really comes through in the whole salon experience.

The bad: I walked in and no one greeted me. I understand they were all very busy but it was my first time there and I had high expectations because of all the glowing reviews I had read. At the very least someone could have said, "Welcome to Dé-al, we'll be with you in a minute." Additionally, I had to wait 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. My stylist never introduced herself, and gossiped the entire time about how much she hated her boyfriend's friends.
