BBQ Express — Restaurant in Wichita

Pretty decent meal and we went home full. We were greeted as soon as we came in and they even thanked us for coming in as it’s still pretty new to the community. Staff was extremely cool with us and when I asked for a hamburger bun the what I presume is the owner or manager took the time to toast said bun and bring it out himself. I got the two meat dinner with pork and brisket, double fries as a side of course. My wife got a two meat dinner with pork and hot links’s her sides were fries and potato salad and she said it was pretty good. Hot links are definitely hot! They have different sauce options but all are bbq or ketchup so if you want some ranch gotta bring it lol. Fries were crispy and well cooked, the sauce is a bit runny but I don’t mind it. The meat was a little greasy once I got down to the bottom but I’m presuming it’s just cause of how it was cut. More of a fine chop if that makes sense. All in all...

I have eaten here multiple times and each time, the staff are extremely friendly and made me feel right at home. Their warm hospitality truly is unmatched! The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the brisket. It was incredibly yummy, with a perfect balance of smokiness and tenderness that melted in my mouth. Their saying is “You can eat our beef without teeth” and I believe it! Additionally, the fried okra was a delightful surprise. It was a great compliment to the brisket. This place should be given 100 stars just off the food is amazing like that saying taste so good makes you wanna slap yo momma 😂. The atmosphere is real chill and the owner and his daughter and the little Hispanic lady are so friendly and they treated us like we were family in their home. She even brought us out homemade ice cream pico de gao with watermelon and pineapple piña colada was on point. The ribs fell off the bone and were bursting with flavor and the pulled pork was too .
