Kohl's — Attraction in Wilkes-Barre Township

Service on date of June 22, 2025 myself and husband were shopping and got approached by you male around 14 or 25 looking for $50. However when responded no immediately took his phone and put next to husband phone on his hip and it went off with sound and commented I'll get money. I immediately went to store manager while explaining what took place others around said they got approached by the boys earlier. We located the teen and his friends who claim nothing was taken. The manager said she was familiar with the teens as they come in after after going to Planet Fitness and have had issues before. They got asked to leave immediately even after I asked should police be involved incase they had skimmer on their phone. I myself and husband felt very comfortable at that time and went directly to cashier and got out of store. We finished our shopping that day on line. Got items via online and had to do returns with good amount which made me feel bad if I would been able to purchase on original day no extra trip would been need. While doing returns today June 29, 2025 got to speaking to girl at returns about to place and she immediately was aware who the kids are as they go to Planet Fitness next to store and come to store often and sometimes cause issues. So to find out these kids are known by staff but still allowed in store to bother customers is not professional image I thought Kohl's had. Since this has happened I am monitoring our personal and credit accounts along with putting alert on credit reports. I shop Kohl's often and feel these children shouldn't be allowed in unless they are with adult. I writing this in hope someone makes change with...

Im Sure if anybody wanted to steal any of that stuff you got up in this store location , that those rude people up in here working done chased em out ! Ain't too many people gonna risk getting charges over that mostly cheap looking stuff you got up in those stores 💯 I worked in classier department stores with much nicer merchandise when I lived near the king of Prussia mall without so many ppl looking in or checking up on me. Found the towels and attempted to shop more until I realized your goal seems to be to get people to NOT shop. All you see are doing ensuring that people don't shoplifters is chasing all of your customers away ! Kohls towards king of Prussia is alot nicer, friendlier staff and way better selection! I figured I had some kohl's cash and was going to beable to use it in this wilkes barre location as well .. because of my awkward size, I like to try clothes on instead of online shopping , but after today's shopping experience.. ill take my chances with having to ship items back if by chance they happen not to fit ! Kohls in the wilkes barre location is a shopping nightmare ! If the goal is to chase away shoppers, then by the looks of it ... you've almost succeeded!...

This Kohls location is huge. They have two entrances huge. They have all your normal sections, like men's clothing, women's clothing, little girl's clothing, little boys clothing, toddler's clothing, and infant and newborn clothing. In addition, they have toys, electronics, bedding, housewares, and other pods and ends for the home. Everything is well organized too. They have multiple dressing rooms, at least 10 check-out lanes. The staff are very friendly and helpful if you need something. My wife left her purse one a shelfand several staff looked for it. Fortunately, I found it. The parking lot is very big with ample parking. They always have sales and Kohls cash back deals. Sams club is right next door so that keeps the parking area busy and full. The customer service area for returns is kind of slow add they usually only staff it with one person. This area trend to get backed up and is also a little disorganized. Overall, I would recommend this Kohls location......it had everything you're looking for under one roof.... except...
