I have only lived in this diocese for a few years, but have worshipped there on occasion for over 30 years. I have a rather significant background in religious education, social justice and liturgy from other Catholic Dioceses and parishes, and so far I am very pleased with the overall leadership of the diocese, the quality of the clergy and the 3 churches where I have worshipped. I am especially pleased that the local ordinary has avoided getting caught up in the social wars, and using the Eucharist as a weapon, as preferred by some so called conservative Catholics and their ant-Vatican II bishops. Read moreAbsolutely horrible. I have been waiting over 4 years for my annulment and every time I called no one had answers as to why it was taking so long. They are willing to take money and charge for everything, but when it comes down to answers no one knows anything. I have never dealt with a Catholic church before until I met my wife, but it's obvious it's all about "take" rather than "give". I hope everyone reads this before converting or dealing with this diocese because I was given excuses of " people retiring" or "our computers are being updated". To this date I get envelopes to donate money, but when questions are asked about my status "I don't know it's out of our hands" .... 4 years...
