It's stereotyped that Walmart has bad customer service and I'm sure people have had bad experiences here, But fortunately that hasn't been the case for me. Yes there have been times where the service wasn't the best but generally when I go here it's actually really solid.
The one thing that annoyed me is that when I bought a pair of shoes the box said size 12 and when I tried on the shoes they seemed fine I somehow didn't notice that they were actually a size 10 and that sucked. I only realized that when I had to return to work and they were piercing into the back of my feet.
I assumed that I got the right shoes so I threw out the receipt instead of holding on to it just in case. As the result when I returned to Walmart sadly I didn't have the receipt and yeah I felt pretty bad about that making me think of that guy on TikTok who does those jokes about working in retail stores and dealing with a guy who doesn't have the receipt. Yeah I felt kind of dumb not having it but the good news is the people work in the customer service counter asked me questions about when the transaction took place and what register was at and it took some time but that was mostly because there was an issue with their computer and then they were able to actually resolve it and find the transaction and find those shoes and get me my money back for it before I would go ahead and purchase a pair that actually really was a size 12.
So the honest truth is the only problem was a box of size 12 shoes only had size 10. But the good news is I had although it took forever because of technical issues I had a good experience getting my issue resolved and replacing my shoes with the correct size...
Read moreThis Windsor location is a great store with a wide variety of just about everything you could possibly want or need and then it's check out time. One thing that you don't expect at the last stage of your shopping experience is a Karen cashier being blatantly rude to a customer from another culture who obviously could not understand what was being asked of him and the issue could have easily been resolved with some understanding, patience, and respect for another human being. Instead the cashier chose to raise her voice and announce that there was a problem and held up the long line of anxious people who were shopping and impatient like everyone is during the holiday season. This man was alone and only had a few items and myself as well as everyone in line were uncomfortable and uneasy over her treatment of this customer so much that I couldn't help but blurt out that I would pay his bill so he would not have to feel so humiliation as anyone surely would. I've always leaned on Walmart as the go to store for most of my shopping needs, but I have to say this experience was a sad and serious task to endure. It was hard to watch a Walmart employee behave in such an ugly self serving way and it's changes the way I see Walmart all together. I'm looking for professional, personable, but not personal when shopping at any store. That cashier was definitely out of line. Who's doing your hiring? I won't be returning for any of my...
Read moreAs someone who has worked in stores like Safeway and Dollar Tree, in the packing and shopping department for pickups and delivery orders I am absolutely appalled by the customer service and care the employees put into their work. I delivery for a delivery service. I have explained to employees multiple times that the bags (if I get any) need to have barcodes for safety reasons as well as verification on my end for completion of delivery. However, I have had to take the barcode stickers from employees and place them on bags myself while the employees get irritated that I am doing my job while they lack on theirs. I have also continually experienced a lack of bagging items, which are things such as bread, shampoo, condiments, dairy products, baby food, and more small items making it not only difficult for myself to deliver but also difficult to bring in for any customer whom may be disabled or elderly and only can carry so many items at once. Especially in this heat, I worry for the customer base and it is extremely frustrating and stressful to constantly deal with this issue even when I voice concern kindly. At this point, Walmart needs to restaff and department supervisors need to gain a hold of the work ethic and customer service that they have with their employees before losing customers as well as their potential on delivery services as I have reported this numerous times now. Get it together Walmart. Do...
