My niece got a UTI and I heard a few people getting pink eye swimming here. The first time I tried this pool out, the customer service was horrid! They try to talk down on you like they're bigtime authority figures who forgot to be polite or even respectful. I was wearing basketball shorts instead of swimming trunks, so I said I wouldn't swim but just watch my young nephews swim. The customer service guy then speaks to me like I'm a troubled teenager when in fact I'm a grown 30yr old man, "if you jump into the pool with those shorts, all your group will have to leave". So I drive 20mins to Walmart to pick up swimming trunks for me and nephews(also weren't wearing regulated swimming trunks) and we went back. Get back, then there's a half hour delay because of low chlorine levels. That's not the last of this nightmare. After waiting, the customer service guys can't even break a 20 dollar bill, wow. I eventually kept my money and left with my nephews, the crowded pool isn't all of that. There's better cleaner swimming pools with friendlier and kinder staff than this...
Read moreReally nice place to take the kids. Just remember to have a swimsuit. They will make you show them the suit, and if you don't have one even if you're not swimming, they want let you in. The only thing I don't like about the pool rules is if you have a little one you have to stay in the 3ft side of the pool where there are only ladders to get in and out of, No exceptions. They have another section of 3ft deep that has steps that you could sit on and let your little one stand on the steps and play, but they are not allowed on that side. That is the only thing I would change. One other rule you might want to keep in mind is if you're child can't pass a swim test they have to wear a life jacket at all times in the pool, and they are not allowed to go past the first rope even if the parent is with them, that rule is ridiculous as well, as long as a parent is with them and they have the life jacket on they should be able to go anywhere in the pool except the...
Read moreI was soooo unhappy . Just because I (mom) didn't have a bathing suit on I wasn't allowed to enter, I didn't want to swim , JUST WATCH MY CHILDREN. I let my children in, I sat on some bleachers outside so my children could enjoy the water for a few hours while I sat in the scorching sun. The following day a man was spotted in the woods behind the playground / water fountain falls, pleasuring himself..Bolton Pool should be ashamed. Give unswimming mom's a different color BRACELET to wear. We are concerned for OUR children. Also I think they need to invest in some surveillance cameras along the property 🤔. I will NEVER go to BOLTON PARK again. The staff was rude and testing my patience...
