La Princesa Frozen Treats — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

This place is such a hidden gem!! I don't frequent this area but when I am here we like to have something special and we normally go somewhere and get bubble tea or something like that but saw this place and the kids wanted ice cream. Boy did we walk into somethin'!!! First of all, the menu was stuff I'd never seen before. The staff were wonderful!! A lady that seemed kinda like a manager took the lead to give us samples and wow! Such good food they have! We ended up with just ice cream but then more people showed up and they were getting all sorts of stuff that looked fantastic! We were full from the ice cream but we WILL be back to try more stuff next time we go to the area. I really want to reiterate the how good the staff were. Last time we were in the area we had went somewhere else near by and the guy working there didn't seem to really care if we were there or not. These ladies today were so attentive! We have been to the old location and it's great. I ordered my favorite strawberries n cream as always. Everything tasted great. My only feedback is: They have these great big menu TV boards up front where they give the orders when they are ready. Leaving a cluster of people looking at menu board and people trying to pick up orders. Then some are standing there waiting to order, when the ordering stations are in the back of store with no visual menus except like paper flyers. When it's time for me to order, I forgot what was on the board. From a marketing perspective, definitely add menus back there or move the ordering to front and giving out orders from back. Came in on a Saturday afternoon. As soon as you enter this place, you’re greeted with a culturally astonishing, family-friendly but yet simple atmosphere from Mexico. I ordered a total of 4 items including a bag of Hot-Cheetos preparados, a Mangonada, a Chocoflan, and a fruit cocktail. The employees had a couple of orders to complete but I noticed they tried their best to get everything out in a timely manner. Once I received my items I was satisfied with the service and quality of the items I had ordered.
